I'm making a game based on the Alpha Version, but with more races: tell me what you think of the idea: Basically it is a 12 person altered Melee map, preferable FFA, or team ffa. Using the Divide and Conquer Map. Its mean features is to use various races from the various stages of Warcraft. Here are the playable races Teams: Burning Legion Naga Blood Elves Corrupted Night Elves Reign of Chaos Alpha/Beta The Frozen Throne Beta The main idea behind the RoC Alpha/Beta is it uses all the stats, spells, heroes and systems that where in the RoC Alpha Testing (such as the grounded Frost Wyrm, Cool looking Dreadlord). Here is a small rundown of the teams: Burning Legion: - 3 Heroes (Possessed Blademaster (Grom Hellscream), Archmonde, Mammorth) - basically i have gathered a ton of information from various websites on info on the Alpha stages of RoC, using all the stats Human Alpha: - Basically using the stats and units, heros, etc.. from the Alpha version of the humans (Elven-Mage Priest, Transport Tank, etc) - Crusader: Seal of Courage and Seal of Valor - Ranger: Flaming Arrows, Frost Arrows, Swiftness Aura, The Black Arrow - Paladin: Lay on Hands, Exorcism, Devine Intervention, Devotion Aura - Mountian King: Storm Bolt, Thunder Clap, Gold Search - Archmage: Brillance, Blizzard, Wizards Mark, Fireball, Time Stop, Mass Teleport Orc Alpha: - Orcs from the Alpha Version. New units with new spells. - Warlord: Howl of Fury, Blood Rage, Endurance Aura, Death Scream - Shadow Hunter: Grim Ward, Null Ward, Serpent Ward, Voodoo Spirits - Farseer: Call Storm, Dark Vision, Chain Lightning, Earthquake - Blademaster: no change, just effects of spells are different - Tauren Chieftain: Rage, Ansestrial Spirit, Warstomp, Reincarnation Night Elves Alpha: - Alpha units/stats, etc (stuff from alpha/beta) - Arch-Druid: Sleep, Preservation, Spore Cloud, Force of Nature - Keeper of the Grove: Entangling Roots, Level Trees, Throns Aura (non-percentage), Tranquility - POTM: Same, but has morepowerful starfall - Demon Hunter: Soul Siphon, Immolation, Flame Sword, Metamorphasis Undead Alpha: - Alpha units/upgrades, etc (gargoly Spire :)) - Dreadlord: Death Coil, Vampiric Bite, Sleep, Dark Summoning - Lich: Frost Nova, Frost Armour, Dark Ritural, Summon Frost Wyrm - Anit-Paladin (DK): Carrion Swarm, Death Pact, Life Siphon, Anitmate Dead The Frozen THrone Beta: - Basically the exact same thing as TFT today, just units have different stats, and BM has Mana Shield (not origanal, trying to work it out) Corrupted Night Elves: - Corrupted Ancitens - Satrys, Treants, Ghosts/Wraiths (All been balanced) - Corrupted Spirit Of Ashenvale: Entagling Roots, Hex, Vengeance, Throns Aura - Satry Firestater: FlameStrike, Breath of Fire, Carrion Swarm, Inferno Naga - BALANCED :D - Illidam: Balanced - Naga Royal Guard: Crushing Wave, Summon Sea Elemental, Resistant Skin, Frost Bolt - Lady Vidji (sp?): balanced Blood Elves - Kael (hero) - Blood Elf Leutienant: Feedback, Armourbreak, Resistant Skin, Spell Immunity (Level 8) - Uses units from Human Campaign (buildings from Elves in RoC too make em less human) A little note: Units under RoC Alpha/Beta have attack types from the patch before the new attacks where added. So thefore, heroes do Normal Damage, and casters do piercing (w/ increased attacK) Here are a few model changes that have been done: - Orginal DreadLord (CampaignCreations) - Masked ShadowHunter - Orginal Vengeance - Sphynx Statue/Black Sphynx This map is still being worked on, spells/triggers and such, but should be released soon (December). I WANT THOSE UNITS. They would be the best for a map. Is it just me, or is the old Druid of the Talon cool. Really really really cool? |

from the pictures, you can tell the abomination was originally a hero if the abom was the hero, what was gonna be the heavy tank unit for undead? |

The Death knight. Basically he look like the Reverants, but with a Sythe. The Death Knight hero back then was called the Anti-Paladin (wow, very orginal). So that answers your question. |

the older skeletons looked cooler too, skeleton archers were summonable by necros before hand. It was kinda revived in the frozen throne, but instead of archers they were "skeleton mages" |

the only difference was that those skeletions where really abusive. According to old reports, they wouln't deacy, meaning that they could be abusive. Plus, the Necromancer was a hero, but then was demoted to unit stats. Me, personally, would have liked to see a Necro hero. |

Actually, these where the heroes once they started showing it off (with Pics) Necromancer, Abnomation, Dreadlord, Lich, Anti-Paladin. Basically, all races had 5 heroes to start of with. |

I think they had removed them due to their "Overpowering" capabilities. Just think about a tier 1 unit 11 - 14 Chaos Damage to Anything. a group of 3 could possibly kill the lv 1 hero easly. |

Any update on the remaking all these cool models that got axed? I know I'd like to see the old DotT, cold wraith, and the PotM on an owl, in particular. |
