Arching Blades
The Lord is right, Andy. Besides, you should describe more on where you are and how you kill the undead. However weak ghouls may be, if you are in a wrong position, well, it's bye bye life! Anyone else posting besides we three?

Firessa dropped to the ground and rolled to the right, dodging Therranor's swing. But the death knight was so terribly swift that when he tried to stab Firessa, she was barely up and had only a second to move. Fortunately for her, she did that in time and death missed her by inches only. She jumped behind Therranor and slashed, her katana burning. Therranor didn't even turn before dodging for he knew what would happen. He walked forward, then turned to face Firessa without a scratch.
"Well, well! You are more worthy of dying of my blade than I thought! Nevertheless, you shall die!" Therranor said softly.
"You should never underestimate a night elf, undead! It is you who shall die!" Firessa said, in her immolation state, "You shall be scorched by my anger."
Therranor fired a death coil at this and Firessa launched a fire arch. On collision, dust was lifted and blocked their eyesight.

Well, The Lord. Let's get on with the battle. I think the battle will end quite quickly, without anyone dying. Let me finish that battle next turn, okay. And don't worry, your character won't die, only hurt, and mine too. And Karazai and friends, where are you? Haven't seen or heard of you for a while.

"After the dust was lifted, Firessa could see a silhouette, the cavalier shape of Duke Therranor staring at the night elf.
'While I am at a good distance from you, you might want to look around.' He said, with a grim tone in his voice.
Firessa carefully looked around. The elves were dead, as well as the abomination.
Therranor whistled loudly. Firessa prepared her blades. First it was silence, but then, they could hear gallops, far away but coming closier and closier.
Unexpectedly, Therranor turned around and ran. Firessa imediatly started to chase him... but not for long. From the shadows, a horse appeared. But not a common horse, but an armored skeleton horse, like you only would expect from a death knight rider. Swiftly, Therranor mounted him. Firessa didn't lose that chance, so she striked. But she had a surprise: she hit the ground. After a few seconds, she was stand up. Nobody was there. And the walls were ruins. More and more undead were entering the city."

Sorry, but I had to finish it. His business is not related with Firessa neither with the other night elves.

Anyway...
How about the Legion doesn't exists? I hate them.

More undead was entering what city? It was only a camp as far as I know. Yeah, we'll see about the Legion later but for the moment, they do not exist.

Firessa continued to look around her. She was anxious to find her companions; all her troops were killed. She surveyed the field but found no sign of life. They were no where to be found. As she turned to go towards the nearby town, someone called to her.
-"Where are you going, Firessa?"
The lieutenant turned again; before her was three persons. She almost scream when she saw them.
-"Where are you going, Firessa? Were you planning to leave us?" Kol repeated, a broad smile on his face.
-"I ... I thought you were all dead! Kar, Kol, Siroff, I thought you were all dead," Firessa said.
-"Can't we lie down a moment?" Kar asked, smiling too.
-"Or should we continue to Raignatan?" Siroff continued.
Firessa wanted to hug them all; she had been in such a shock to find them alive. She reached out but suddenly, she remembered she was still in immolation.
-"I think we should rest," Firessa said, crossing her arms.
-"Hey! I have a question. Why are you burning?" Kol asked, "Is it passion? ^_^ I'd say you are burning with passion! With what or with who, that is my second question."
Everyone laughed at the joke.
-"I'm burning not with passion but with rage ... rage for the undead!" Firessa said as she launghed, sitting down.
-"So now you can't even turn off your rage or what? The undead are gone!" Siroff said.
-"Hey, hold on! Stop making fun of me!" Firessa said. She clapped her hands thinking of turning off the immolation. The flames subsided; the group sat down as if for tea.
-"How'd you do that?" Kar asked.
-"It's all in the mind!" Firessa replied.
They rested there, chatting.

Kar: Hmph... ya.... well OK, I'll go from there...
"After a few moments of chatting, everyone could see that Siroff was very agitated with something, but Kar couldn't tell what.
'Gah.. I think we should move at least a little farther from this battlefield.' Siroff said at length.
'Fine, we'll move, but no too far, and I'd prefer to stay with the trees for now. It is almost dark.' was Köl's reply. So the group moved a little further into the forest. Siroff was much less agitated now, butt Kar still didn't know what had caused it in the first place. It didn't matter, however, when she decided it was time for rest.
They drew lots and Firessa took first watch, even though she had drawn for third. It didn't bother Kar in the least, as that put her in third watch--giving her time for rest. Then Köl offered to swap places with her, putting her at fourth watch. She gladly accepted.
She climbed into a tree and used one of her favorite spells. It wasn't very taxing, and since her mana would refill overnight, it wouldn't suddenly drop her while she slept. She gathered her ingredients first: many leaves and two strong looking branches growing from the tree. She bound the leaves together as she had done for the sling, and made a hammock to sleep in. Soon afterwards, she was blissfully sleeping high in the boughs of the great tree."

Dreadnaught: heh. Second-watch now.
"Firessa returned early, which was not something he had been expecting--nor had he expected her to fall fast asleep before ensureing he was even awake.
'Oh I see now.. yes. She should be resting. Resting soundly. It isn't every day you must lose so many close friends, nor should it be.' He finished his thought with a sigh and went on his rounds.
All around the camp and back again. Then all the way around again, then back. His watch was mostly uneventful, save for a singular occurrence. A flock of crows was startled from the direction of the human city. Nothing happened after that.
He returned without checknig it out, for he had no desire to be back amongst that stench of decay and bitter magic."

Pherexio: Alrighty... lets see...
"Siroff returned just on time, a few minutes after Köl awoke. They exchanged a nod and Siroff went a little way into the forest to sleep. Köl let the campfire burn while he was away on rounds; it would be welcome by everyone when they woke up, and it also kept most of the forest creatures at bay.
Eventually, his three hours were up, and he decided to go get Kar to doher watch.
He got back a half-hour later, and found that Kar wasn't out of the tree yet. He silently climbed up to see why. When he got to Kar, he noticed how peaceful she looked, sleeping in the security of a group of friends, high off the ground in her own magic. It was not something Köl wanted to interrupt, for more than one reason.
He went back to the decaying city he had just been to an hour ago. The enchanted skulls the necromancers carried had lost their mana feed, and were leaking blight.
'Siroff won't like that at all..' Köl said to himself. So he set about destroying the skulls and clearing away the blight. It was almost dawn when he noticed that once again, he was being watched, but this time, the eyes did not belong to an elf.
He turned quickly when he finished his spell, so he would look as if he knew the orc was there. Spear in hand, and spells prepared, he asked the orc what his intentions were,
'Lok'gar narosh!?'"

heh... now you'll have to do something other than random killing... :8

'Exactly.' The Archlich then reveals a black ornamented urn. 'Take this. Do not open until you get to the center of the Garrison.'
'Understood.' He took the urn and carefully deposited in a bag of leather.
'We now leave!' He yelled. The troops were prepared to battle.
Duke Therranor begins the march. To the east, to the Human Garrison City of Liarnath
."

This is the Garrison City of Liarnath......
and what are you doing? Are you crazy? The city is being attacked by the undead and you are chatting! Ok, ok we are in higher number but... ok nevermind.

---------

"The Undead army entered the city..... The humans could not hold them, even with the royal guard at their aid. They did not have the defense advantage anymore, so it the raiding was much easier.
'Here...' Therranor murmured, when he was in the city's very center. Undead warriors were positioned so he was protected by them.
'Ash'ganûl Tarramorgak e'zûl!' He spelled, while unfolding the urn and depositing it on the ground. The urn opened, and a green fog has been unleashed.
'Everyone! STOP!' He yelled to the undead. The humans started to slay them, but that was no matter for Terranor anymore.
For the ground has been blighted. The humans stoped.
'Die, and decay!' Therranor said, as the humans started to do exacly that... they all died, and decayed instantly.
'Now, arise!!! Hahahahahah!' He laughed, while the dead bodies started to shake.

-a while passed-

The dark gates were open... The undead garrison was filled up with undead, and Terranor was up in his own Necropolis, contemplating his own army.
'She... remembers me somebody...'"

Wait a minute here.... I'm totally confused now...
couple of things....
I thought the battle was over, with the undead having decimated the humans, and moved on.... well, in any case, we have conflicting accounts of the events here, so we need to sort those out before we move on.
1) Is the battle "over?"
2) Did the undead A) suffer too many losses to take the city, B) just go off in another direction, C) or take the city as their own?
3) If C) then I/we need to change my/our posts to fit what actually happened... cause this battle sort of petered out....
If A) or B) then some changes need to be made to your post The Lord.

I really need to know, what's going on here!?

Karazai, you're not the only one who is confused now. There was a camp that became a city. Then Lord has attacked the city. We entered the battle. When Firessa was supposed to fight Therranor, the latter fled to capture another city. No matter how much losses they had, the undead just grow from others' death. Well, after Therranor fled, I made Firessa and co. sit down and rest so I don't really know what city Lord is capturing. And what happened to Tir?
In my opinion to your Qs, the battle is over, yes; the undead suffered many losses, yes, but there is no way there was 'too' many; gone in another direction, I think yes, take the city as their own, ask Lord. That's my answers. We'll really need to set our plans right.

Ok... well lets see then... I'm just going to have to make some quick changes to this....
A) Köl doesn't return to the city.
B) The group has gone a LOT farther back into the forest
C) Köl didn't bump into Stormrider
D) The rest I think can stay the same.

Sorry I couldn't do all that IC, but I don't have much time to post. Well, I guess I could re-write it all later if I have time. So... ya...

You have confused yourselves...

Everything I am doing has been explained before, in my previous posts. Did you read them? I quoted one in my last post, with the words "Garrison City of Liarnath" in bold text... So there's no reason for you to say that a camp turned into a city.
First, if it was a camp, why there were so many troops in there? Second, Arching Blades, if you are confused about the invasion of the army and the siege, please read this thing i have mentioned some posts ago:

"'Therranor, the preparations have been done.' Said a necromancer.
'What preparations?' He asked, as the Archlich Zarn-Lhûl appeared.
'We have set a couple of Meat Catapults about a nearby Human Garrison City. They have not noticed them yet because of the mist that had been there ploriferated. For them, it looks like a common fog that is very usual in the cold winter of Lordaeron.'
'I see. The Catapults shall start the siege. While they destroy the walls, we appear to eliminate any foe that tries to get rid of them.'

'We now leave!' He yelled. The troops were prepared to battle.
Duke Therranor begins the march. To the east, to the Human Garrison City of Liarnath."

I think this is the second time I post this. It means very much... The back raid had been planned since they were preparing to battle...

Karazai: They took the city to their own. That's why I underlined the words "dark" and "undead", because it turned on a undead city. Yes, the battle is over, the humans were slaughtered as well as some of the night elves. The undead obviously suffered the damage, but if you didn't read this part.... "'Now, arise!!! Hahahahahah!' He laughed, while the dead bodies started to shake."
The humans were all turned into undead... That's why we had so many warriors at the now undead city.

Did I answer all of your questions?
03-28-2004, 07:20 AM#85
Karazai
That'd be all of them. Going to have to change a few more things tho:
A) The walls etc. were not covered with Tir's banners
B) Köl was out mindlessly killing mindless zombies instead of fighting Tir
C) Tir is nowhere to be found atm.
D) Stormrider needs to get moving! :o
Again, sry it can't be done IC, but times a crunchin even at 2:30 am! :o :o

GAH, think I really got myself confused. Sorry for the trouble. Now that I understood let's get on.

They were all up at dawn. From deep inside the forest, the group could still see the smoke rising from what was left of Liarnath.
"Think we should have listened to Kar after all! We couldn't do anything to stop the undead from taking the city," Firessa said, deep in thought. She had lost many of her friends and it was all her fault. She had driven them into a battle that was sure to be lost.
"Don't feel guilty! You wanted to help, that's all," Kar said warmly.
"Yeah! But that's still me who drove them into a battle without any good strategy and that should not have happened," Firessa said.
They set off minutes later. Firessa didn't seem to forget the battle while walking. They were doing a big diversion to bypass the now undead city. They continued to walk towards the human city that lay south.

Karazai
Kar: Eep! I have some time!
"They were walking for almost the whole day until they found what looked like a small camp. By the looks of things, the inhabitant was temporarily away, and would be back shortly.
Kar quickly surmised that this was the makeshift encampment of an orc. The large axe, the stoked fire, and durable Kodohide tent--each one was an indication of an orc living there.
It was quickly decided that they should move on without spending another moment there; an orc returning to his most prized possessions with a group of strangers gawking at them, is not going to be a happy orc. Unfortunately, the orc returned just as they were exiting the clearing.
The orc was battle-worn and wielded scars from previous skirmishes. Firessa had ordered her few remaining archers to go back to the nightelf base they came from, so it was just an imposing-looking orc, and the four of them. Kar decided these would be good odds if the orc wanted to fight, but the group had just spent the day walking at a very brisk pace, and were still catching your breath, it might not be so easy..."

Sorry for being so short, but Sunday=homework and chores, so I don't have much time. Now, however, it looks like StormRider is going to become slightly more involved....

StormRider , being very very hurt, too many wounds, lays down next to the tree he once rested at before, then he whispers " good bye world" as he coughs himself to sleep, there he would rest forever.

.....? What? You mean, you just kinda.... made a character.... then randomly killed some zombies..... then ignored the fact that he was virtually unharmed in a campsite.... and then he's now randomly dying somwhere... next to a tree that isn't anywhere near the camp....? That makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever.... I mean.... seriously.... its like a waste of space... and now.... my characters are facing a non-exstent orc..... I don't exactly get your logic....

yep.......
