if im not mistaken, its replacing the bone rotation, scaling, and translation of the bone and helper with the same name... so renaming them doesnt has any problems... :)

Here's another version with the overflow fixed. I'm also putting the source code up. There are some parts that are incomplete/disabled until I finish them, so the code looks pretty messy overall.

This tool handles directly the mdl and has nothing to do with milkshape or 3dsmax.

Oops, I didn't upload the exe because they had the same name after zippage.

This can be used with Milkshape's expored MDLs. That's actually what I originally intended to use it for. Just get the MDL to the point where it converts to MDX and make sure you have all the joints named to be identical to Blizzard's and you should be able to use it.

Hmm... so what are we doing to fix the corpse thing? because on mine the corpse shows up during the stand anims, and then when the anim "flesh decay" starts, the unit up and pops out of the ground and just stands up with no anims, Its kinda scary.

Argh, I see why it's not uploading. I had it names AnimTransfer.zip, which was already used by the source code zip. Anyway, I'm trying again....

You have to know some about MDLs to fix that at this point. I'll try to work on that, but I'm not sure how I could.

you need a file converter to convert mdx to mdl...look in the tools section of the downloads and you'll find one...
