Oh btw, what exactly am I doing? Quality testing (head beta tester?), triggers, terrain...?

hey aquatic elf, could you post the jobs of everyone on the team. because I and some others are getting a bit of confusion. also,

could you also put up the story line

and, it be possible if I could write an extended version of the story line.

Well, I personally don't like to say- YOU DO THIS, YOU DO THAT.... I like to think people do what they can
Sytadel you're on the team and you certanlly wont be the last...

OK, about jobs, if you reaally want it:

necromandude- cinematcs
DamnedOne (Zapjon)- i'm not sure he's still with us, but if yes-terrain and skining
Amadeus H -terrain and spell editing and cinematics
Sytadel- terrain, triggers, cinematics, beta testing and graphics(if we need any more)
Shadowed - He said he'll do map 2 terrain

If i missed something, please say(we still don't have a moddeler)

Story:

Map 2:

Yvone comes to the Valley of Weneedanameforit and builds a base there. From the base she will attack the two necro's, fallen members of the Old Council. On the way there sthe meets an emmissry of the Aquatic Elven people. She lets him pass to go and speak with thw queen. In map 4 he will speak with the queen.
When she destroys the necro settlemens she asks the two necros: Why?
Ecaterina comes and burns them to ashes. Strange, no? THE END

Map 3: The two council members attack the remining necro. At the end Ecaterina again comes and burns (him/her). Strange, no?

Now let me tell you something bout the story.... It'll be a bit NON-LINEAR.... Can this be done? Make some of the aacctions chose difrent endings. Like is you chose good, you free Loeandor, if you chose evil you destroy it???? There should be around, ummmm, 12 diffrent stories....... OK with you guys????

P.S. I forgot to say, in Map 3 we see Garona assasinating Arthas...

rofl. Take it you've never clicked the button to go to my website then? =P. I'll start work this avo. I can't quite do anything as impressive as the CoTN website and I only know HTML and graphics, but I can make sites pretty efficient and presentable enough. Besides, CoTN's website killed my poor 56k =(

That non-linear thing would be really cool (and I'm 99.9% sure it can be done), but use it in discretion. Like say it's a tree diagram, and each map has two endings:

See what I mean... that'd be like 7 maps, but a player would only ever play 3 in one hit. What would be cool is if you complete an optional quest you get like a bonus map, and in the bonus map you might acquire an item that helps alot, or uncover a piece of story/enemy weakness that helps later on. More like this:

And to go through the * you need to do a certain optional quest in the 1st mission. I wouldn't want a whole quest devoted to something like a Robe of the Magi +6, but towards the end on RPG-like missions (where you wander through caves with units), it would be cool to have a hidden exit, which leads to a smaller cavern with a cool custom made item in it.

Also if you send me the basics of each storyline for the first few missions (only missions you're sure on), I'll elaborate it a bit for the website. Send anything to [email protected]

Well, I don't meen so many maps.... That could be done to, but I was more thinkinglike at one point you get to chose one of the 12 difrent endings. I might give a shot for the optional quests too.

I'll check your site tommorow and also give you some info on the site than... ok?

Yeah, once I got the info I'll try to get started, but I got a full plate at the moment so it may take me a week or two to get going (Mostly homework, my life, and to a lesser extent, another website I have to make)
