Havent talked to ProudClod about any finished models, yet. He doesnt have a time limit on when it needs to be finished. Its up to him if he wants to post it up.

Im not going to speculate on when the next demo will be out on, but I know its not going to be soon. But I could give an update on bug fixes from the first demo and release that, if I hear that you guys really want it.

If an update, not that big compared to the first demo, prolly round +50 kb of coding to clean things up. But if a new demo(I think there is a filesize limit in warcraft 3 on how big the files can be) its going to reach file size limit >_<

As stated above b/c of music and sound files, without those, it would be about 500 kb of coding I think.

No beta testers needed b/c I run the game after I code, so no need:)

How buggy? LOL, how nice of you to say. I will make sure the next demo will be bug free, Im sure you've read about why the demo was buggy so I wont go into that. If I dont do an update, the game will not go far. I have a lot to work out with the game, in fact, there shouldnt be a misson you can play first ,now that I think about it.

You cant acquire Ifrit, I dont know how you did it, but you can see a lil demo of him if you find a tree and walk near it.

Well, i know this is probably pissing you off a bit, but an approximate release date for the new demo would be awesome, coz quite simply... i cant wait! and im sure im not the only person thinking that :ggani:
And i just realised that (besides on maps.warcraftiii.net) i didnt say all that much about it, basically its awesome, i wasnt expecting the "real" camera shots, that was awesome, the opening sequence was awesome, although maybe ProudClod could make you a train model? (not to be confused with a model train :ggani: ) But it was very well improvised with the houses. The dialouge wording is perfect from memory, im not sure whether your copying the PS version or the PC version, but the PC version has many fixes in language along with many other things.
Even though you said you didnt want beta testers i am here to help if you need, i know mediocre trigger editing, have been told i am good at making cinematics and even better at giving ideas/support, i have finished FF7 countless times and know the game inside-out, you may not need any help but i know its always good to have someone there to help out with ideas and the like, i had a fair bit of support with my map and it made it a hell of a lot easier, and whether you like it or not i will probably post stuff on this site (or maps.warcraftiii.net) to help you out if i can.
And this is a bit too far ahead to be thinking i would imagine, but i cant really imagine how you are going to some of the following....
- The submarine bit
- Running into the Emerald Weapon
- Simply being underwater
- The Sister ray
- Being trasferred between junon and midgar
- What the model for it will be
- Items (the part im most worried about)
- Many graphics for weapons/items ets
- Potion/other item use outside of battle
- Lack of room in inventory
- Materia Organization, room and slots per weapon
- Joined materia
- Counter and magic counter
- Cover Materia
- Reflect Materia
And well anyway i though i would just get the point across that, you might want to start thinking ahead a bit to those 'hard to trigger' parts if you havent already
But regardless the mod is great so far, keep it up, and dont give up, coz when this is in the hall of fame of great ever maps/mods i wanna be one of the people who can say "I played that when he first made it" or "i helped out with that map" :ggani:
Ive yapped on for a fair while hope some of it was in some way useful.
Both you and ProudClod are doing great so far, keep it up!

Items are going to be a hard thing to do...esspecially MATERIA!

hmmm, and now that i think about it materia growth, especially double and triple AP weapons, and levelling up will all be pretty hard to do, anyways i guess they'll adress that problem when it comes around :ggani:

hmm.......*cough* look on page 1 COUGH!! we are going to include EVERY single feature ff7 had no matter wut it takes....submarine, snowboarding and all the other minigames will be coded by myself and vietmastermind

No, release dates. I dont want to dissapoint anyone with a bad date that I cant get it out in. But there will be an updated for the map with small bug fixes.

Anyway, here are some explanations to your questions that I could give a reasonable answer for it:
- Water? Not saying I could yet, but there is a way to get around that and everything else.
-Sister Ray. What about it.
-Being transferred with the boat right? If that is what you mean, it can be done. And it can be any model, since ProdCloud can make it into any other model he wants.
-Items and Materia, whoa boy, not going to start with that. It would take too long. But I have it figured out, its just the coding I must deal with >_<
-Lack of room in inventory is a bit tricky, Ive decided that you can scroll through your inventory with 2 buttons. It will be shown in the next demo hopefully.
-Ive figured out any battle type related questions and I dont want to answer them simply b/c I dont want to explain how I did it. sorry.

The game is on early stages, what Im doing now is coding the essentials so that everything will be easier to code down the road. Yes, every post if usefull, it keeps us motivated believe me.

im lookin forward to final fanyasy 7, i was wondering 3 things, 1:will there be all the music from ff7? 2:how will u make mini games like gold saucer games and the motor cycle and snowboarding game and the submarine games????? 3:when is your demo planinng on releasing?

hahahahahahahahaahahahahaahhaha this will NOT be 1 map, anything les than a 5 map campaign is insane!, dont expect the full version out for a VERY long time, speaking of which, viet, i really think you should get least 1 more if not 2 more people on your team, specially since it cant really derive from your idea(everyone has seen this idea by playing ff7, so it would stay true)

just an idea.

also, proud, do you have a site where you show all your models? i wanna see em

Woo hoo! I just got done finsih rebootin my comp, so everything is up to speed. Alls I gots to do now is reinstall everything....

BH-RaBbIt why yes Im gona use every music for FF7, those songs I can decompress them to a small sound file, depending on song length, and put them into the map and loop them very easily. So expect a song in one scene thats familiar when played at the right time... yada yada. As for those pesky side games, I have an idea of how to make it work, not gona say how yet b/c I didnt really planned that far into the game yet. So thats my answer!

Did u know on Frozen Throne u can join 1 map with another map so if u can figure out how that would really help makin it more like the game.
