Isn't it just to incrementally add the new variables to the replacement list? Ah well, I imagine it is more difficult than that. What you have done so far is invaluable. Thank you! (If you would like to be bothered by a bug, I can report that excessively long filenames still cause the name bug previously reported, although I imagine nobody would care or even experience it now.) |

lol, I fixed the check buttons but I forgot the long filename bug. I´ll fix this later on, maybe tomorrow. We´ll have lot of tourneys today and my bro probably ´d like to play, so I´ll leave the PC to him and get some beers to me.:D Btw, can you tell me what is the FULL path + filename of this "weird" file that is causing this bug? |

hey blackdick, i noticed that the upgrade requirements problem is still there. I think it might be a bit different this time though, cause it's simply reverting to the default requirements for upgrades rather than not enforcing any requirements at all. In addition, it seems that the slots positions for the upgrades are reverting to the default positions as well. Note that this is a scenario that occurs when I use the lock map -> full lock option. Do you want me to send you my map again? I'm using TFT editor now btw. |

Plz send it to [email protected] altough I´m not sure if this time it is a HeavyLocker bug. Are you sure embbeded SLKs and embbeded TXTs are supported with FT 1.11 ?? |

About the filename bug, it seems to occur whenever the output filename is 20 characters shorter than the input filename. It's just like you erase the first 20 characters in the input filename and then overwrite it with the output filename + a space, which might leave some of the original filename. There you go :D |

Peppar , I still don't get it. Plz say the name of you map, the output name you´re using and then what is the name HL is giving to it. |

this works with wcx maps Still right to protect and compress file size? |
| 07-20-2003, 04:24 PM | #98 |
Yeah it works perfectly fine if I don't use heavylock (with FT 1.11). However, just to be 100% sure I will have a look again before I email the map to you and verify that the problem exists as I said. |

If its just upgrades thats ok since i do not use them in my map only cosutom spells ,units ,and lots of triggers |

Ok: I open "(6)EyeOfTheBeholder3.095.w3m" and save it as "Eye.w3m" and get "Eye.w3m w3m". |

I tryed this here and it works nice. Dunno what´s going on. |

Try some even longer filenames pherhaps. I don't know what might be causing the bug other than the filenames themselves... Pherhaps the paths of the filenames might cause the bug, otherwise I am clueless. There might also be a difference between a compiled version and a debugging one, try to run the compile version if you haven't already. |

@BlackDicK: It is annoying that the map optimizations are not available if I want to include a listfile. On the other hand it is annoying that I can't select map optimizations if I want to include a listfile. Please remove those "restrictions" of your tool. Make a mode, where the user can select what he wants (the options have to make sense of course). |

? I don´t get it Starcraftfreak. One of the the things to make the map a little more protected is to remove the listfile. Besides, you can always use your custom litfiles with WinMpq if you need to. I see no reason to include listfiles on maps, this would just make things easier to map-stealers. :nono: EDIT: I got your point now. I will enable the "Include Listfile" with map optmizations but NOT with the Lock option the next version. Peepar, I tested it with the last released version. I guess the problem "may" be the path + filename, altough this bug never happened to me. |
