I haven't been rushed by beastmaster in ANY game. True, i mostly play 1vs1, both on bnet and single, but unless amai use NE i rarely see beastmaster on the map. It might be that then, either the map is too big and he rather go creeping, either he don't get BM at all. I read the code of the IA and seen something strange, Crypt Lord never go for scarabs as first option. Though, it is far more useful than impale since it give early 5 free melee units and ability to creep with 1-2 paid units without loss. Impale on the other hand is useful mostly for disrupting, and cost a lot of mana. Another thing, concerning NE ai players, they make to move of using wisp dispel, but just attack the wisp and it flee. It's a normal behavior but wrong in this part. |

I know they currently got real trubble on reacting fast enoguh to what enemy builds, I will try to make a huge decese on strat_presistance for next version. (the force that makes them want to stay on current strategy rather than changing no matter what.) I think that will make them change to a counter strategy faster, but there will also be a lot of other goodies making them a lot more challenging in 1on1, trust me I already got beaten (Suprised my self) 2 times in a row against a Normal skill after our last added features, we are trying to improve the micromanegment as good as possible and the "features" list for next version has already grown longer than ever before. I hope you all looking forward to see the new version as much as I do my self :) |

Me can't wait, too! :D Me sometime clear a mine for an expansion, but then when me got my peasant there, my AMAI ally is building his town hall there! I just Ignore him and build my own tow hall. Then I forget about it for quite a while. When I get back to that mine, I surprise to see the AMAI is nice enough to cancel his town hall in order to leave that mine to me! That map is Lost Temple. Me do see the AMAI have improvement on helping human ally, but it's still seems so RARELY. Can you force it a little harder? I play 2v2 and usually end up lost because of 2v1 after the ally AMAI use his only telepoth scroll! |

I've got a big problem installing AMAI and its driving my nuts. Whenever I try to install it to a map, it says "No AI files found, Installation disabled." and it won't let me install it. Help please. -lunar_anubis |

It shuld work as long as you run the installer and got the 2 subfolders RoC and TFT present in the same dir as the installer. In the RoC and TFT folders there shuld be the files: common.ai human.ai orc.ai undead.ai elf.ai If this is how it looks like for you already I don't know what's wrong. Just extract the file and keep the directory structure and it shuld always work. |

Can you please change the call AMAI button from the ESC key to the "[" key? I know [ is used for display the health bar for friendly units but I guess using key "alt" is easier and faster. |

No, unfortunately that is not possible. Blizzard only provided events for ESC and the arrow keys. So it has to be one of these or a usage of them in a specific row. Or an alternative would be to enter a specific chat message to activate the dialog. |

There's another way... To create dummy ability that doesn't appears but uses desired hotkey. And track down event when unit casts ability... |

When I try to use amai, it shows a message that says it can't find the ai's and doesn't let me do anything except choose the map. I put them all in one folder but that didn't work.:( EDIT: nm I got it |

The problem with the hotkey solution is also that it requires to put additional files in the map which increase the file size and might conflict with future Blizzard patches. And I would have to add it to all units and even then it would not work when the player has selected anything else. All in all I guess that is not worth the problems that come with it. |
