makie sure dat you copy da storm.dll and the SFmpq.dll from your warcraft 3 folder to the folder where zephir editor is or else it wont work and wont be able to create maps right or load maps... |

It can do many things the WE can't. For example path editing, precise tile height editing, water level editing, grounds flags editing, it can make your map use up to 16 tilesets, it can watermark your map and protect it against editing. It doesn't support new maps format unfortuneately and it's still in beta developpment. I still don't have time to update it but I will when I'll find the time to. (no, I'm not dead... ;p ) |

The new specifications about W3M and W3X files can be found here! I can open new w3x with my editor. Expect a new version in the coming weeks that'll allow conversions between expansion beta and war3 retail... and more, of course! ;-p |

Guest | I'm new to the forums and the first of my topics is that I love your editor, beats the hell out of the original WE, but in your editor the loading and campaign screens gota be up :) not trying to force ya, its just that I use the editor and the regular WE but now I can't add those screens haha. Is there a work around until the beta is finished? thanks. Also I made put more timesets into my map, made about 17 the thing is now when I edit in WE and try to make cityscape cliffs the top and bottom of it is fine but the wall has the texture from the grass cliffs (top and bottom have tile, side of cliff has gravel) is there a problem?, will it work fine in game? I imported the ground and cliff tiles btw. Thanks again. |
