im really lost... now its jst an orc party? sigh...
at least we have funny troll twins... but i find da party real big...

An interesting character you could add could be a hippie type shaman. hehe... that'd be pretty sick. They come across this hippie all wreathed in incense and high off banana peels. Wearing purple shades and all that shiz. That'd be sick.

I really think it's a good idea for the artist involve to get together and talk this over. The IRC channel is the perfect place for this. I'd be best if we could organize some time for that to happen, but, for right now, I'm just planning to stay logged in until someone else just happens to come by.

So, please, go get mIRC if you don't have it. Set your server to irc.wc3campaigns.com and join channel #Duoroth. It's not that hard. I got it all figured out in, like, 5 minutes.

I'd really like a more open place to discuss ideas as I'm really excited about doing this, so, please hop on the IRC channel.

I think there is a misunderstanding going on.

Chain comic is for the artists to have fun. To change the direction of the story, put in new flavor, and create new characters. With each pages, the artist can try out new stuff.

Designing characters is probably the most enjoyable part of participating in a chain comic. They get to design and assign a role in the flow of the story, plus they get to see what others do with their character. It is the priveledge of the participating artists.

Designing might take some time, but the artists are the ones who have to use that design every time. Making comics take whole lot more time than designing... Some people keep it simple to make the process easier. Artists have more fun working on something they designed, that's why I suggested for each artists to design them. So I am really more interested in hearing what the participating artists have to say since they are the ones who will be working on them.

I see a lot of people throwing random ideas, and mentioning things they want to see... expecting us to fit their ideas into the comic somehow, regardless if it is relative or not. I am sorry to say this, but if you are not making the pages, you cannot expect to see what you want to see. Everyone have different ideas of how things should be, and that's why chain comics are most of the times inconsistent but it is still fun to make. Adding random ideas made by others only make the drawing process feel like work.

Once again, the only reason I asked for the designs of the characters and general direction of the story is so that the later artists would want to continue the chain.

yes i was gonna point to this, this thread is getting a mess, if ur not an atist, please stop posting stuff. plus i think most of you people think to far ahead. what we are doing right now is coming up with the beginning that rain is gonna draw. if its your turn, and you feel you need to adda a hippy shamen, be my guest.

btw, i hereby claim a fight between the BM and a DH. i've already made some scetches of this scene, and i really want to do it, so if nobudy wants to add a DH and just wait for my turn i promise i'll make a kickass fight!

i havnt figured out why yet but it will be a duel between a young cocky DH and the veteran BM. I really want the BM to be a veteran.. i have some great desighns only i cvant post em... >.< his main features in my opinion is that hes quite thin, but really musculair, he has like this stereotipe sargent haicut, i know this might sound silly but i have a grat drawing of this and it looks really good, but rain feel free to change :P i see him with a short grey beard, lots of scars everywhere, and kind off samurai/chinese looking shoulderpads, not really orcish, he probubly looted them ;). the rest ofr his outfit is pretty basic BM stuff.. and ofzourse he has a kickass blade :P.

why a fight between a BM anjd DH is so interesting to me? becouse against a DH a BM would be able to use his powers such as windwalk and mirror image, becouse the DH is blind. he senses his enemy and relies not on vision like others, so he woukld be able to see the BM while he is in windwalk, just as he would be able to see the reall thing among the mirror images.

the aprentice of the BM... i think it would be wiser to make her somewhat more like his sister or partner, and that she is a yong far seer, this way we have a spellcaster in the group wich would be really great. the BM would be the absolute tacticval mastermind of the group, but his assistan will be err... of great assistence with this. but ofcourse it will be the BM taking all the big disicions, not the BM.

i think the idea of the wichdoctor being the mother of the troll twins id absolutely superb!
they could have just followed her or something ;)

sorry about my absence over the weekend, i had ALOT of homework and the internet was down to boot. i like the idea of picking up characters as we go.
i will probably have some big fight scene in my part (i like fights). some demon lord will find out about the attempt and will try to quash the "puny orcs" efforts. ill throw in some surprises too, im not gonna go to in depth cuz a: i just thought this up now b: i want it to be a surprise.;)
dont worry about the BM being veteran erwtenpeller, by the time he gets to you, he'll be stinkin beefed.

...but, where i go really depends on rain, if his goes some completely different way, then mine will more than likely change as well.

ill get on some designs right away.

... Well the BM design is still up for grabs. But I think the apprentice is being designed by Laz.

We still need an orc hunter(ranged orc unit). I am thinking perhaps we change the troll twins into just one character...

Anyway I was thinking adding more armor to the grunt... He would be charging with his right shoulder up front, so that's why the spikes are on the right side...

im on BM...unless erwt gets his comp fixed soon.
