The sixth race might have been the High Elves - after all, the History of the Alliance does mention that Quel'Thalas left the Alliance prior to Warcraft III. Or maybe it was the recently revived Shadow Council, which currently holds a secret headquarters somewhere in Felwood.

Personally, I was hoping for lizardmen . . .

It was the dwarves. The elves were to stay with the humans. They changed the story AFTER they changed everything, including the demotions, deletions, and additions to units. Dwarfs were to discover their origins in war3, however, since it was changed to RTS, they removed that idea and instead have inputed it in WoW.

Too bad the demons never had a chance to be a playable race. They had some pretty good units - the behemoth, succubus, overlord.... oh well.

i wonder if and when blizzard will actually release the alpha models for us to play with... now that would be neat.

Can't someone try to recreate these heroes? The priestess on the owl is already existing at wc3sear.ch, but can't someone make the RoC Beta shadowhunter? It's just to replace his skull between his legs with his boards on his back, then make the skulls sit proper. After that, then just remove his skull between his legs and remove his board on his left leg. That's it. Someone who'll give it a go?

I would LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it if someone made the old Druid of the Talon. The new one sucks. Why the HELL did Blizzard use it? If they would have used that one, I would use Druids of the Talon more often, since they are pretty useful actually.

Hey, I found something interesting when I was looking through the units in the unit editor. From the looks of it, the Alpha version, Druid of the Talon turned into a raven, it looks different than the raven he turns into now. Well, look at the Albatross model. I think that wa s the old raven model!

There isn't a alpha.mpq, at least what i know. You think you can get one? Serious?

if someone manages to get hold of the alpha mpq, i think it is only fair to share the contents with those in wc3c. especially the cool dragon, and the potM on owl (the actually rider is better quality than the one in the retail). but i think it is highly doubtful that someone will find it.

The dreadlord still says "This is not a dress, it is something of the proper dreadlord uniform" or something.
