Well, here's my two cents. FIRST of all, the reason I wanted to uninstall it is because I enjoy regular warcraft, and it makes it hard to mod it when there is another mod installed. Second, as Mozared already stated, many of the files from original warcraft are either removed or changed, making TFT very hard to play. About the actual mod: The idea is a great one. Four new races takes a very long time to come up with and balance out, which I give you credit for. The models are very good, and even though many of the ideas were from Warhammer Fantasy Battle, (this has been discussed OVER AND OVER) there is plenty of originality still. The gameplay is... well, it is fun, but not for very long. As you start to mess around with the new races, you begin to realise that a lot hasn't changed from warcraft. You still have tier one melee and range, tier two caster, etc etc. The graphics and stats of units are changed, but it still feels a LOT like warcraft, just with non-proffesional models and skins. The new spells are nice, but nothing amazing. You can see stuff like this in AOS maps. Highs: Great originality, tons of new models, 4 new races, "ultimate" units. Lows: Messes with TFT original, not a whole lot different in strategies and gameplay, feels too much like warcraft. Bottom Line: A nice conversion, but only worth the long download and hassle of re-installing warcraft if you enory looking at some interesting new models. The reason some people aren't liking it so much is because it disables TFT, and it is so similar to the WC3 that people would rather play the regular version which is more balanced, and looks proffessional, than a "crude" looking mod. 4/10 |

jezus christ... here: "Well, here's my two cents. FIRST of all, the reason I wanted to uninstall it is because I enjoy regular warcraft, and it makes it hard to mod it when there is another mod installed. Second, as Mozared already stated, many of the files from original warcraft are either removed or changed, making TFT very hard to play. >>> i stated that if you play a certain MAP in normal tft which is MEANT to be played with TTOTR it get's weird. YOU NOOBS READ THE FAQ, it DOESNT disable tft FFS! About the actual mod: The idea is a great one. Four new races takes a very long time to come up with and balance out, which I give you credit for. The models are very good, and even though many of the ideas were from Warhammer Fantasy Battle, (this has been discussed OVER AND OVER) there is plenty of originality still. >>>yes. The new spells are nice, but nothing amazing. You can see stuff like this in AOS maps. >>>thats true, but it's about the new races, not the whole new lay-out Highs: Great originality, tons of new models, 4 new races, "ultimate" units. >>>indeed Lows: Messes with TFT original, not a whole lot different in strategies and gameplay, feels too much like warcraft.>>> scrap the first one, it DOESNT mess up tft, only if your to lame to read how to fix it in less then a second, rest i pretty much agree. Bottom Line: A nice conversion, but only worth the long download and hassle of re-installing warcraft if you enory looking at some interesting new models. >>> once again, you do NOT NEED TO REINSTALL WARCRAFT, for the rest it's fun. The reason some people aren't liking it so much is because it disables TFT, and it is so similar to the WC3 that people would rather play the regular version which is more balanced, and looks proffessional, than a "crude" looking mod. >>>sigh, it DOESNT DISABLE TFT, and this mod looks proffessional, and certainly not crude. i beta tested this thing, if you said it sucks you said i've done my job bad. 4/10 >>> 10/10" About the disable TFT thing: READ THE FAQ AND THIS POST FFS, we've said over 50 times now that this is a bug which you can solve by downloading a certain file! do you really think that we would release a mod which screws up your tft?! then you are screwed. I put crude in parenthases meaning though the models are good, they are obviously not made by payed proffesionals. Stop flaming me, I tried to be reasonable. --- Yeah, i just tryed to play it in normal TFT. WOOT OWNED, creeps have no models, all the buildings for all races are totally green (icons), and it looks really ****ed up (models). how fun! Mozared --- Why are you flaming everyone when you made the same mistake yourself? |

I put crude in parenthases meaning though the models are good, they are obviously not made by payed proffesionals. Stop flaming me, I tried to be reasonable. --- Whatever you say, they're not bad, thats all i said. Yeah, i just tryed to play it in normal TFT. WOOT OWNED, creeps have no models, all the buildings for all races are totally green (icons), and it looks really ****ed up (models). how fun! Mozared --- Why are you flaming everyone when you made the same mistake yourself? i'm not "flaming everyone", i said this because i thought it was rather funny how everything looks. i know tft doesn't revert back normally, thats why you need to dl a patch, but we've said this REALLY over 50 times now so its getting boring here. and i did not make a mistake, i tryed that on purpose. look, for the makers of this mod, you did a great job. there's nothing wrong with having a warcraft feel to it. That's the whole point, to maintain the same game we love but to add a little variety to it. As for the level of models, blizzards staff gets paid to do models and not only that their staff is much bigger and the time to work is much longer to perfect their work. If they can do this well, chances are with more time (like if they did this for a living with no other time) they could accomplish a lot more. You try getting the same level of work done with the size of their staff, doing this on the side for fun to trying and entertain a bunch of people who can't do it themselves but feel they are that arogant that they can cast unreasonable judgements. I don't model, skin, trigger, map or anything else and frankly I'm tired of playing the same warcraft over and over again, so I appreciate your effort guys. If your going to critique, critique, but don't get ridiculous. If we don't support people like these guys, what the hell are we left with but a bunch of f**king critics who can't do squat but talk sh*t. So unless your going to put up something better, put up or shut the F**k up. You know how about the next time you guys make a mod just send it to me directly and people like me. :o o_O |

I think he means he wants an avatar like yours, exept then with the portrait of "that shiny guy" in, whoever that may be... He'd take a picture in-game then, resize it, and paste it in the borders... (i did kinda similar, resized a blizzard pic). also try to keep that border, it looks really nice if everybody has it :D I on purpose resized a blizzard pic to keep the border :D Mozared |

Ok if u guys are still searching for a minor. I no an easier solution. For the PPL who are going to start the hosting: 1) First download eMule from HERE or goto Main Site and click on downloads and pick BINARY as binary means the installer. 2) Put the MOD in the incoming folder within the root directory of eMule. This will be by DEFAULT C: \Program Files\eMule\Incoming. 3) Click on "Shared Files" button. You should now see the mod there. If not click on "Reload" at the bottom. Now Right-Click on the MOD and pick Priority (upload) then RELEASE. Right-Click once more and pick "Copy eD2K link to clipboard". This will make a link that u can post onto the website. And when ppl click on it it'll open up their eMule and begin downloading (assuming they have eMule installed)... if they cant do it that way, all they have to do is copy the link into the Search section where it says "eD2K Link(s):" and click on start. The link should be ed2k://|file|TToR32Full.zip|11728832...823E24D1CC75|/ cos the hash number doesnt change if the file is unchanged since release. People who want to download the MOD: 1) Get eMule from the sites above. 2) Click on the link to download ed2k://|file|TToR32Full.zip|11728832...823E24D1CC75|/ I'm currently sharing that file so if u've got eMule installed just click that link above. If more people start sharing this way u'll get a better download rate for the file. Hope this helps u guys on ur search for minors. P.S. As i'm the only one seeding/hosting the file at the moment the download may be a little slow if too many people try to download it in this way. Please comment on whether u guys will consider this as a way to share the file. Oh btw before i forget... NRM... wait i mean TToR ROCKS!!!! I downloaded some of the previous versions in the past and had one too many problems installing them, good job on improving the installation... simple n easy... altho i've noticed that the "Play TFT.bat" doesnt actually work on my pc so i have to rename the file manually but the "Play TToR.bat" works great. Good job, n keep up the good work :D ^_^ |

Awww man i cant belive this... everyone on this thread has complained that they cant get the file... and when u give em one... they dont use it... i mean ive been seeding/hosting the file on eMule for a day now... and in the shared files section... it shows that no one has requested the file. Oh well its ur loss... ur missing out on a great mod tho :D ^_^ . |
