Wcwarehouse was around before wc3search. He should have the right to post a link in HIS sig to a site that has SERVED this community before wc3search was breathing.

Banning me was very fast... If you haven't noticed I had that sig there since August 1st. Correct, I was warned before but ONCE! I was warned about directly posting the link in one of my posts. That was my warn on advertising. Right now I don't remember posting my link but I cant referrer or mention my site at all? I was also warned for having the word "bitch" in the sig. I asked the admin if I could put the sig back up he said yea. It just had offensive words. The warns were together so I guess it's one warn.
I think it was dorelien go ask him. When I get back I'll check my pms I'm sure I have the pm still.

Fact is:
I've been advertising that link or ALMOST a year. And you suddlenly ban me now for it. When I try to speak my mind.
SAMODS and WC3C are closely affiliates. I am under samods! We should be technically affiliated aswell.
I was warned once and it was for offensive language and POSTING a direct link not sig advertising.
I was told I keep the sig with the words removed.

I will not try to come back with other accounts. I just wanted this said. I will serve the week ban. If you see many say it was unfair to ban me. If my sig was the issue I'd be banned before this thread would ever been made.

mock1 is very noble... i couldnt leave for a week, i couldnt handle being left behind!

Darky approached me this morning and confirmed to me that there are NO popups on his site. The only things there are are the Google AdSense ad and a banner at the bottom which actually doesn't even appear for me.

I'm still scratching my head over the popupsI got before. Today, I didn't get any. Scan your comps for spyware. Tell IE to disable ActiveX. That should do the trick.

So basically he was banned because he badmouthed your site? Pft.

Also what is up with banning him for advertising for his site in their sig? Nearly everybody does that. *Points at own and your sig*

In the future maybe you should keep yourself away from people that express negative opinions towards your stuff, you obviously can't handle it professionally.

Also everyone in the mappers guild advertises in there sig. and the list goes on. Wcwarehouse isnt even a threat as it ONLY offers skins, icons, and Models.
You didnt even give him multiple warnings and he asked permision before to use it. I believe him too becuse h e even asked cookie if he could put the blizzard extracted models. I mean I was like why ask him its blizzards work. But he had enough respect to ask Because cookie extracted it. Also asked if he could link to the site. So someone so conscientious of other peoples thoughs is not allowed to put just a sig of his site.

Yea I got 2 adware programs when I visited just a minute ago.... my virus protection caught them (fucking GAIN... thats the worst...), but what the hell, and yea, I get popups sometimes when I go there, but my google bar catches em and removes them. The popups and ads arent a problem.

Spyware is the root of all evil in the web, Here I have to use cibercafe comps, and they always have one different kind of spyware, there is no hell, but there is one reserved for spyware makers...

i picked up a virus off Sear the other day, the site was acting all wierd and funky, and then my virus stuff picked up about 17 viruses. It was the only site i had open, so it cant have been anything else. The firewall logs also showed 17 files with the correct name being downloaded from Sear. But i havnt had the problem since.

So is WC3C turning into a "You cant advertise your site in your sig unless your an affiliate"

That is messed up.

A fansite is a fansite... if you can't advertise it in your sig then something is wrong.

If it can only be a link, and not an actual picture, then fine... but I see no reason for people to be unable to link to their fansite.

And I think someone is abusing their power. Go ahead and do it to me too if it makes you feel happy.

Not even cause Wc3warehouse is part of SAmods And Mock couldn't have the sig. Is just stupid. I remeber whn Wcwarehouse was back. There was a post on the front page and "sombody" (i know who) deleted it like 10 minutes later.

Was a warning given at all to Mock1?

i can understand no advertising for other sites unrelated to warcraft 3 campaigns such as newgrounds or something but banning someone for linking to a fansite is just wrong
