go to file -> open mpq. go to warcraft III and open the war.mpq the portrait is in there. wcviewer lags? well... buy a new pc, worked for me ^^

That my second ever complete freehand skin.. although its very basic, i like the idea....

You need to definatley change that horse-part of your dryad egypt skin! anyway... i hope you (Reaper) stick around here for a bit.. after this i got a real good challenge coming up

Well, i guess i started the dranei mage contest so i'll mop it up. im sending pms to finaltyrant saikkan and garith to judge each skin a rating from 1-10. whoever has the highest score from them wins.

as requested by Aardvark, i will give my judgement of the Draenei skins.

First skin:
Ok, the first that strikes me is the lack of colours, its very monotone. Also, the shading lacks quite a bit, since it is either too bright or too dark most of the time So about 3/10, which i would consider quite lacking.

2nd one:
Now, this may be CnP (I cant tell) but i wont judge for that anyway, so here goes.
This is really impressive i think, the amount of detail is reaally well executed, and colours are well chosen. However, this would look very bad ingame i would think. It would be somewhat flickering, because all the details are too small to view properly ingame. So thats a 7/10 i think.

3rd one:
Ok, this one seems incomplete to me, since the wrist bands are solid colour, or very close to it. Mostly it seems like a bunch of filter effects to me. These may look somewhat good, but do not look very good in conjunction with the very dark areas. Overall this seems incomplete (and low quality) to me, 4/10 1 higher than skin 1, because this one has a better choice of colours.

last one:

Ok now, i must say i really like this skin, it looks good as a showcase skin, and would surely also be usable ingame. the scales would be an unecessary detail ingame, but gives a + when judging it as a showcase skin (my rating is based on both ingame and showcase)
I would give this one 7/10 as well, what i miss is some eye candy ;), and maybe a better definition of the stomach area. Also, it does look a lot like the original draenei, so it seems less original.

I think thats the end of my Rant.

Hehe okay here are my thoughts.

1st skin - 3/10
Lack of colour and lack of detail, too plain it could use alot more, the shading as Saikann said is also laking. I dont mean to sound harsh but its a pretty bad skin that needs lots of work.

2nd skin - 6/10
Looks to be CnP which puts it down, around the mid-body the design used there doesnt look to blend in well since it gets to bright and most of the skin the shading is very dark, it wouldnt be that good to use in game either because of the amoun of small detail added most of that wouldnt appear in game from a normal distance.

3rd skin - 5/10
Alot better then the first although it is missing alot of detail it could of had, at the moment its very dark but the creator could have done more to this 5/10 because I did like the red but that could have been with the work of a filter as said by Saikann.

4th skin - 7/10
This skin is my favourite out of the lot, the theme is original it fits good on the model although it could have done alot better such as detail like the Naga Sea Witch has, the stomach also looks a bit left out which brings the score down but with more work this skin could go far.

Ok, My Results from the Competition:

1st Skin-
The real downfall in this skin was the Monotony... As mentiond by both other judges, it has little color, and needs more texture... I pretty much find this a fairly poor skin... it needs more color and depth.
3.5/10

2nd Skin-
Personally, i think that orus did an exelent job on this skin, considering the model. I like the detail, regardless if it wont be seen in-Game. I also like the gold, well made there, and the shading really works for the model... generally a good skin, but dosent seem to have a dominant "Themed look" to it.... that the best i can do to explain what it's missing... Great work:
7.5/10

3rd Skin-
Ok.. whatever it is (Im asuming its some sort of lava beast or something) it could look more like it is supposed to... Really, it is either unfinished or rushed too much... Needs a lot of work... it could come through as a good skin.. but it needs alot of therapy.
Better than the first, but again, needs more color and dispersion.
4.5/10

4th Skin-
It seems that i dont like this skin as much as Tyrant or Saikan but it is Genuinley a good idea and a fair execution of it. The scales wouldent be seen in-Game, but Im judging on "showcase" (As Saikan put it) aswell. The color choices were good and matched each other, and the shell-thing works well... good job!
