The Creatures of the Night Discussion

Well what I'd like to do for a living is to "create a fantastic world", so I somewhat like RPGs for the storyline/worlds you venture into. I'm doin the best I can do with the stuff and talent I've got and I am extremely satisfacted. I don't belive I copied anything from RPGs, although I've been told some events look a lot like stuff that has already been made(but I didn't realize it at the time of its creation)

As for Insaniteus I believe you are right. My work and his work are two different things. I actually have a storyline while he doesn't. His movie is more a "mad special effects, very little story(ies)" map. As opposed to Insaniteus, my movie isn't based on SFX. anyway I could write an entire book about the differences, and I must tell that,somehow, he is the one who gave birth to COTN, since his map gave me the idea of creating something huge too :)

As for the spelling mistakes, I've got a good reason: english ain't my native language =P

The part 3 will go deeper into the feelings of the characters, you'll be able to see how they react towards particular events and stuff... makes it more "personal" having a favorite character too, not only for the way it fights but for the way it thinks. As I mentioned before, I don't want to make any "100%american-like movie" that are based only on battle and blood. Personnaly, I believe that a movie that is based on violence is absurd and useless. You know, when the only parts you remember are the ones where you see how people suffer just for fun, without any reason... I just think this kind of movie shouldn't exist. A good movie has to teach you something good... My 2 cents anyway :)

Good news, the part 3 is developing much more faster than I thought it would. It currently lasts around 4:30 minutes. This one will probably last much longer than the previous ones too. I expect it to last around 20 minutes, so I've got around 20% completed. Nothing's official at this point tho

thanks for the compliments, but I prefer not to talk about insaniteus too much, I don't wanna brag or have him as a rival or sumthin y'know...

Quick reminder:

Remember this isn't the place to say which movie map is the best or which ones sucked. Any flaming of people's hard work will be deleted/edited. Saying one is better/worse is one thing, but dont say one sucks or anything.
