the best way (i reckon) to get your multi ending/pathing campaign to run is to use an array have an array set up and then get them to do a choice between two quests in a mission, if they choose one it follows a path if they choose the other it takes the other path.

If you need more info on arrays go here

I asked him is it was possible to make someone chose an answer. Example: Lola says: "Hy, how are you?"

Now you get to chose eill you say good or bad and that would affect the outcome of the conversation and the campaign... Now trigerrers, can this be done???????

Yes, with 'dialog buttons'. Don't ask me how to make them work... :bgrun:

I'm not sure on dialogs either. I may be able to learn them though, but from what I've gathered they're harder than they look. Can anyone point me towards a tutorial?

I think that the player should decide their path depending on what quests they do, not dialogs and choices. That's how it's always worked in blizzard campaigns (both in Wc and Sc) - you are merely presented with several quests and depending on which ones you do and don't do, your next map is chosen.

I'll start work on the campaign terrain today. Just a few questions:
- Judging by the picture, I take it that players are meant to go through the first necromancer base before they reach the second?
- Since it's an early map (well, the first playable one), is the tech tree limited in any way? I'd reccomend so, but we don't take as long to introduce every unit as blizzard does (About half missing in map 2, a couple in map 3, then all available).
- I'll use temporary models in place of the heroes. On that, which heroes appear on this map?
- What exactly do the elves do in this map?

The aquatic elves I do not mind if we keep or not, although if you don't mind my saying, the idea of underwater units is probably something best left until FT. We could just have a small band of regular elves (the ones protecting the sunwell in Reign of Chaos - with dragonhawks and skyfury towers etc.). We could consider them 'elves of the water', and maybe even intwine that with 'elves of the earth' or something later on, but the aqua seems to imply that they're mermaids or something.

We should best leave this to dialogue, it's like this: you have to chose which one of the witches will you allign with. It's easyer to do that with dialogues. As for optional quests, we'll bring some that will decide the outcome in too.

-Yes, but at the end cinematics they will both be alive.
-It is limited, and I was planing to put in some new units. I need your sugestions about this. New units or no new units?
-In this map Yvone and Ecaterina with new models and the two necros with new skins(speaking of skins, who's like to do this?Basicaly they are Madivh and Archmage with undead skin...)
-They were suposed( in this map) to ask permision fro, Yvone to pass the teritory to speak with the queen. BTW, I've had some insiration as for the queens looks... Jaina model, Instead of legs, she would have a long skirt and a new modeled head. The upper part remains the same.... BLACK HAIR

Well Aquatic Elves are creature that live both in water and out of water. They are usually found out of it, and the Aquatic Empress has a castle on lande where she would give protection to the "noble"...

gosh, this thread's too big. Please condense your posts or no one's going to bother to check this thread. Maybe you should make a new thread or ask for a forum at Broken Edge or something.
