I know that, and in my review I pointed out how there was very little character development and how only two people cared about the moral dilemas and the fate vs choice dilema and both gave in to the war effort with little resistence. I graded you on your genre's staplepoints from war movies etc and you had almost none of them.

I did not show the battle at the end because that was not my focus. A cinematic without battles can be really good and that is what a story is for.;) 12/15 for story was just sad, i know there is some stuff i could have done better but i had different goals coming in to the cinematic than when i finished. Taking off like 3 points for the ending is just absurd. Oh and calling the ending "the worst ending on Earth" was just low.:cuss:

Sorry, but for future reference a TEXT RECAP OF WHAT YOU MISS THAT SETTLES NOTHING AND HAS NO REAL RESOLUTION WHAT-SO-EVER qualifies as the worst ending on Earth. Shit, anyone here can end their cinematic with "The battle was fierce" blah blah. I sure as hell don't want text endings to become some kinda trend, and seeing both you and Shooter do them really bothered me.

-3 for total and complete lack of sound effects is getting off easy when you think about it. Shit, if you get -3 for no sounds and -3 for no music, you'd STILL have some points lol. Sound effects are essential, that's a pure fact, and when War3 comes with TONS of them there's just no excuse.

That was DK's comment. I personally beleive that it is entirely possible to do a cinematic without battle scenes, shit CotN 1 was like that. The main problem with this was that you spent over 20 minutes hyping up and setting up for a collosal battle and then cheesed your way out of it.

What in the almighty crimson hell are you talking about? There wasn't much "new" in this cinematic. What did you do that was new? If you're talking drama then DK's already done it. If you're talking moral dilemas than Blizzard has done it. If you're talking text endings, then Shooter did it too lol. Seriously, there was little new here except for a few of the special effects and the plotline itself.
And furthermore: VoodooO's map was far better than yours, because he had everything you did, and more, and special effects, and sound effects, and action, and more charismatic characters, and more character development etc etc etc. Heart of Evil was simply phenominal, and only had a handful of errors like the naive treasure hunters telling everyone they meet about it including a greedy fuedal lord lol. Other than that it was FAR superior, it was even better than CotN in my opinion.
And I was surprised that all three entries were serious movies. Shit, can't anyone do comedies anymore?
PS: VoodooO, I'd say you got the Witch Doctor because he's a Voodoo Priest lol.
