Yep, making spells IS addicting. It's just so fun to think something crazy up, then go open the WE and actually make it work.

I guess it started when I found out the TFT WE was gonna have a spell editor. I started coming up with these ideas I was gonna do when it came out. I got it the night of the release, cheated through the campaigns, and then set about learning spell editing(didn't take long). I was kinda dissapointed on how limited spell editing was, but then I had remembered reading about spell enhancing with triggers from this forum. I got the Telekill spell to work after a couple hours, and after that, IT WAS ON!!! =)

I was already pretty experienced with triggering from the RoC WE and the SC editor. I had also taught myself BASIC back when I was like 9 or 10, and scripted with mIRC some, too, so triggering isn't that hard to me.

I'm rambling... I'm gonna go work on 11H some more, and try to get a lot of stuff ready for the next preview tomorrow.

Sorry Ak, the Bloodlord doesn't have anything new at the moment, but I'll try to whip something up tonight. If I can't, I'll just reuse some skills from other chars, so that he is playable. Omni WILL be nerfed though. :/

Alrighty, I've been working on this for about 6 hours now.

All Human heroes have 4 skills now. Troll was given Ensnare, Sentinel was given Healing Wave, and the Razormaid was given Pickpocket(did this last night). The Lich was given a buffed up Silence for an Ultimate. These changes are temporary until I can come up with something better.

The Naga Guard's Slam has been implemented (almost)fully into 11H. He was also given the impale spell I posted screenies of a couple pages back. Watch out, he's DEADLY if he can get good mana regen. The slam spell is just EVIL!!!!!

The Bane of the Living and the Bloodlord are the only characters that aren't fully functional at the moment.

All tooltips should be correct now.

Fixed a ton of minor issues. Still haven't fixed the spawn imbalance yet, but I think I know what's causing it. The undead do better on the top of the map, while the humans tend to do better on the bottom side. I think the spawns are just arriving at different times, causing a slight advantage to one side.

Did some balancing to some of the more overpowered spells. These were mainly on the Undead side. All spells should have an appropriate mana cost and cooldown, also.

I changed some more stuff, too, but I can't really remeber everything I did. ^^

The previews are still on, and I look forward to seeing everyone.

Almost forgot these:

The Naga Sea Witch no longer has Monsoon. It was replaced by Thunderstorm, a Rain of Fire Edit. It has the same functionality as before, but with no bugs as far as I can tell.

Illidan's Spell Shield has been replaced as well. I gave him an Avatar edit I had made even before the Spell Shield was made. It grants him spell immunity for 10/20/30 seconds. This was to eliminate issues with his Spell Shield not being canceled by spells, making him pretty much permanently un-nukable.

That's about it.

Great - I hope i have time to make it to preview. Be fun to test it out with you guys. We have more time to chat as well. instead of pms and board. =)

C wars is updated to an extent. Bz with spell making - this will do though. Testers for almost 2 week now say its good. =P

Edit: Cherry Blossum Updated is not the final one bug free spell. Yes - I gotten the bug where the impact of the earthslash final is too deep. =P

Arius the Pure - Disciple of the Light - Priest Model - Intelligence - Healer

Holy Light - Stock
Power Up - Buff: +20/35/50% damage, one ally.
Teleport - Like DotA
Solar Flare - Negative Buff: All enemy units in range 1500 are blinded by intense light. Mass Curse.

Bloodaxe the Savage - Berzerker - Ice Troll Model - Strength - Power Melee
Axe Throw - 75/150/225 damage nuke.
Rage - Passive: 10/15/20% chance for 2x critical strike / 5/10/15% evasion.
Berzerk - Passive: 50/100/150% attack speed 20/40/60% move speed. Takes +25% damage. 15 second duration, 45 second cooldown.
Ensnare - Raider ability.

Yozshura - Partizan - Blademaster Model - Strength - Power Melee
Flash of the Blade - Leaping attack to one target for 100/200/300 damage. 700/850/1000 range. From my old sig.
Counter Attack - Passive: 10/20/30% chance to strike an attacking enemy for 25/50/75 damage. Only counters one foe at a time.
Evasion - Stock
War Cry - Self buff: +25% damage, +5 armor, +50% life regeneration. 45 second duration, 90 second cooldown.

Alexis Demilune - Advocate of the Crescent - Sentry Model - Agility - Hero Killer
Moon Glaive - 75/150/225 damage nuke.
Shadow Strike - Adds up to 120/180/250 damage to next attack. Melee range. High cooldown and mana cost.
Agility Bonus - +4 agility per point.
Sentry - Summons 8 guardian spirits to protect the Advocate. The sentries revolve around the Advocate and will retaliate against any enemies within range. Each blast deals 5 damage. Lasts 180 seconds.

Maritza de la Helada - Hyperborean Sibyl - Jaina Model - Intelligence - Offensive/Support Caster
Frozen Orb - Like in Diablo 2. 33/66/100 damage per bolt(pierces). High cooldown and mana cost.
Frost Assault - Quad nuke. Frost attacks come from all 4 corners of the screen and hit one target. 100/175/250 damage(total).
Frost Aura - -10/15/20% attack speed and -5/10/15% movement speed for enemies.
Passion of Shiva - With Shiva's aid, Jaina renders the battlefield into a frozen wasteland. Randomly and repeatedly damages and chills enemies.Each blast deals 150 damage to the target, and 50 to nearby enemies. 3 second chill duration(1.5 to heroes). There is a 3 second channeling that must finish for this to go off. Fires 12 times. 1500 radius.

Kala Magefire - Pyromancer - Kael - Intelligence - Heavy Offensive Caster
Meteor Storm - 100/200/300 AoE damage. Slight delay. High cooldown and mana cost. No longer hurts allies.
Inferno - Fires explosions in a line. Was meant to be like the Diablo 1 inferno. 50/100/150 AoE line damage.
Hellfire - Summons 5 invisible feral spirits with fire trap attack animation. 3/6/9 second duration.
Flamestrike - Tweaked from stock. Does more initial damage, but no after-damage. No longer hurts allies

Maranda Windstrafe - Ranger - Sylvanas Windrunner Model - Agility - Ranged
Frenzy(to be renamed) - +75/150/225% attack speed. Short duration, high cooldown.
Exploding Arrows - Passive: Gives a 7.5/15/22.5% chance to explode arrows on attack. Deals 75(total) damage to target unit, and 50 damage to enemy units in a small area of effect.
Precision - Passive: +25/35/45% damage.
Guardian - Summons a huge Siege Golem

Mayumi Hatori - Razormaid - Maiev Model - Agility - Harrassment
Pickpocket - Steals 0-100/100-200/200-300 gold from enemy hero.
Wind Walk - 50/75/100 backstab damage. +10/20/30% movement speed. 15/30/45 second duration. 30 second cooldown. 75 mana.
Negative Armor Aura - -1/3/5 armor for enemies in a range of 700.
Razor Fury - Teleports to every enemy in range and does a 75/300(max) damage Fan of Knives at their location.

Aggronor Stoneshield - Sentinel - Spellbreaker Model - Strength - Tank
Blade Throw - 75/150/225 damage nuke.
Healing Wave - 100/200/300 heal per target, jumps 10 times
Shield Block - 10/20/30% chance to block all but 10 damage from a physical attack.
Spell Steal - Stock as a hero ability.


Undead

Rasza the Eternal - Aphotic Phantasm - Avatar of Vengeance Model - Intelligence - Support Caster/Backup Healer
Elysian Assault - 100/200/300 damage machine gun nuke.
Ethereal Touch - 100/200/300 AoE heal. 20 second cooldown. 100 mana.
Dark Familiar - Summons an invicible familiar. Uncontrollable. Follows you and attacks. 10/20/30 damage. 120 second duration.
Ruination - The Phantasm calls forth ultimate power from the ethereal plane. After gathering enough energy, Ruination is unleashed. Each blast deals 100 AoE damage. There is a 3 second channeling that must finish for this to go off. This is hard to explain, just take my word, it's sweet.

Dethecus - Bane of the Living - Overlord Model(Creep) - Strength - Power Melee/Siege
(nothing at all!)

Terminus - Black Rogue - Dark Ranger Model - Agility - Ranged
Arrow of the Damned - 100/175/250 damage nuke.
Freezing Arrows - Passive: Gives a 3.3/6.6/10% chance to enchant arrows with a freezing effect on attack. Deals 75(total) damage to target unit, and 50 damage and chills enemy units in a small area of effect.
Vile Alacrity - Passive: +20/30/40% attack speed.
Desecration - Takes control of a target enemy unit, and gives it a 50% attack and movement speed bonus, as well as a 50% vampiric attack. Cannot be used on Heroes, or creeps above level 8. The controlled units will die after 240 seconds.

Azrael - Bloodlord - Possessed Grom Hellscream(may switch) - Strength - Power Melee
Omnislash - Like Cloud's limit break from FF7


Kryptikk Soulslayer - Dark Adherent - Lich Model - Intelligence - Healer/Support
Death Coil - Stock
Avatar of Bahamut - Transforms a friendly unit into a random Dragon Whelp/Drake/Dragon and grants control for 30 seconds. Abilities and Life of level 3 dragons have been tweaked. This skill may switch owners.
Teleport - Like DotA
Silence - Buffed up version of the Dark Ranger skill.

Mistress Darksorrow - Maiden of Agony - Succubus Model - Intelligence - Heavy Offensive Caster
Explosion - 100/150/200 AoE damage nuke.
Life Drain - 20/30/40 damage drained per second over 4 seconds.
Poison Sting - 100/200/300 damage and 5/10/15 damage every 2 seconds for 15 seconds. Range 300. Poison damage decreased, range increased by 100.
Defile - Edited starfall. Increased damage and rate, lowered duration, changed graphics+trigger SFX.

Sindweller - Slayer - Evil Illidan Model(first hero I made for this) - Agility - Harrassment/Hero Killer
Feedback - 5/7.5/10 mana destroyed per hit. No extra damage.
Frenzy - +33/66/100% attack speed and +10/20/30% move speed for 45 seconds. 60 second cooldown.
Temporary Spell Immunity - Becomes spell immune for 10/20/30 seconds.
Telekill - Immobilizes the target, teleports to its location, and attacks. Effect lasts 9 seconds; 3 seconds to heroes.

Maldazzar - Stygian Guard - Naga Royal Guard Model - Strength - Tank
Pike Slam - 100/175/250 damage. Knocks target back 1000 distance. If the target hits a wall, building or destructible, it will take another 100 damage and be stunned for 6(3) seconds.
Strength of the Tides - +5 strength per level.
Cleaving Attack - Stock. To be tweaked.
Dark Spiral - Spiral of Impales - see pics on previous page.

Lady Serpentra - Stygian Queen - Lady Vashj Model - Agility - Ranged Support/Offensive Caster
Thunderstorm - 100/150/200 damage to a 250/300/350 AoE.
Summon Vile Temptress - Summons 1 Vile Temptress. Feral Spirit edit. Buffed at each level.
Brilliance Aura - Stock. To be tweaked.
Wrath of the Heavens - Fires 12 Chain Lightnings at random enemies in a range of 1200. Each bolt deals 60 damage and jumps 8 times

Update: Hopefully fixed Razor Fury and Slam. Fixed some tooltips, and the Lich does indeed have Silence now.

The Bloodlord is now playable. Skills are:
Vorpal Blade(temp): generic nuke
Soul Theft: Like the Paladin's redemption aura in D2. Gives a chance to consume a corpse every 2 seconds for life and mana.
Devotion Aura: this is definately getting changed. Had this as vamp, but combined with Soul Theft and his naturally(too high) dmg, he was sick.
Omnislash: FF7 Limit Break.

Gave the Bane of the Living some stock spells: Storm Bolt, Shockwave, Vamp Aura, Starfall.

Preview/Test #3 starts in a little over an hour. Hope to see ya there.

Whoa, so now is Silence the Lich's permanent ultimate? :)

Anyway, I (finally) had some more suggestions and ideas, Zoi! Here they go:
This Ensnare skill was an idea I had for the Warden in my map and I was going to have Ak47 look into it when he found the time (My attempts at it have been umm... unsuccessful, I can't figure out random target triggers >.<), For the Ice Troll Berserker, why not keep Axe Throw and Rage as they are, but instead of Berserk as a standard skill, exchange it for some ability that is like Fan of Knives, but instead of shooting out blades at random nearby units around the Berserker, have it ensare / net down random enemy units around the Berserker for a set amount of time. Each level would always have a 15 (5 for heroes) second immobilization time, but as the level increased, the amount of targets netted would go up, like 3 / 6 / 9. Then, for his ultimate, you can have Berserk make him really scary, redish, and have him all glowing with bloodlust on his hands, ect. and just have it make him really fast and mean. :)

Have you ever played Crono Cross or Trigger, Zoi? If you haven't, two of the characters in that game have a combination technique called X or Cross slash, I forget what it is, but anyway, it involves the user rushing forward with his blade (like the Blademaster) and then I am thinking that another image of the caster (This may or may not be good as a nuke for that Grom guy) would rush forward doing the same thing to damage the target, what do you think?

Have you seen the Final Fantasy Tactics version of Cloud's Finishing Touch skill as well? It basically hit the targets with every bad status element in the book, and I am thinking that if the Lich's silence skill it not permanent, you could have it set up like this (This is like a combination of D1's Stone Curse and Finishing Touch): (This would be a targeted ability) A tornado's graphics would appear on the target and then they would turn all gray-ish and become unable to move, attack, or use abilities for a fair amount of time. You could probably add some other effect to this ability, but that much is up to you! I'm for now though, c-ya!

I'm not sure about a multi-ensnare. The cooldown on it is pretty low. 45 secs I think. 5 seconds is more than enough time to kill a near dead hero, which was the intent of the spell. I will probably replace it anyways. It was just something I threw in so he wouldn't be missing skills. The same goes for Silence on the Lich. It was a filler, only I forgot to actually give him the spell, lol.

It's been forever since I've played CT/CC, and I never got Cloud in FFT. I know what you mean by the cross slash tech. I think that's what it was called. I was already thinking of doing that =P

Anyways. I really think I fixed Slam this time. I figured out why it was permapausing.

        (Ordered unit) Equal to SlamCaster - [b][i]I forgot to add this here[/i][/b]

        Set SlamTarget = (Target unit of issued order)
Basically whenever another unit used an ability based on shadowstrike it would overwrite the SlamTarget variable. If this was done during the duration of the slam, the trigger had lost its original target, and thus cannot unpause it. I watched the replays of the games where a hero was permapaused, and on both of them, a shadowstrike-based skill was cast after I had cast slam, but before it had finished its effects.

Fixed some other minor things. Soul Theft is nerfed a bit, and Grom's insane base damage is no longer on the Bloodlord. Character selection has been cleaned up, and will allow you to pick a character if you tell your wisp to move to the hero, and not the circle of power. It now waits until all players have selected to spawn computer forces and creeps. Also imposed a 2 minute limit to pick your hero. If one is not chosen, you will be forced random.

I want to mix some of these Spells and i think more
people might love your Spells.

First time I've used the Channel ability as a dummy. Works GREAT!
The ice effects are actually impales, one of my new favorite abilities =)

There should be an Ultra Super Secret hero that you get if you type in "LOL" EXACTLY like that at the hero selection screen

without the quotes

Hero Type: A Piece of White Bread

Model: The most white bread resemblance ever

Prime Stat: STR

Abilities

Call PIAKCHU: Calls PIAKCHU, not Pikachu, PIAKCHU

lvl1- 400hp, 20-25 dam, thundershock

each level adding 75 hp and 10 damage

LYITNING: Deals 50/100/150 etc to target creature, at max level, it attacks twice

WUT EVA!: Plays the voice chip of housemaster, going "WUT EVA!!" and causes every enemy's eardrum to explode
lvl 1- 200 damage nearby units
each level adding a 1 second stun

(Ultimate) SUPER SAIYA-JIN BREAD MAKEUP!

Turns housemaster into the same thing except with yellow hair, and automatically kicks every enemy in the groin

Lol, that's great. Actually I am going to add a secret hero or two. You will have a small chance to get a secret hero if you choose random. They will be stupid/silly chars. I already have one I'm gonna make.

The Mathemagician. This one came about because I forgot to take out some debugging code from Frozen Orb in preview #2. Any time the spell was cast, the screen was filled with math(incorrect math, to boot =P). He's gonna probably be the Archmage model, and have skills based on math stuff.
