I think Erwtenpeller is being a little too bossy and not letting the freedom of the other artist come out to form REALLY good ideas. I just want to see a good comic, I'd like to say I love the idea of the BM with split personallities. Besides I think his death would be a good one if you need to. (Same with Grom ya know) So keep on keep'n on!

I think Rain is ignoring me..... he didn't said anything about the three pictures I posted nor about the idea......

Here's a mini-comic I made. I did it in like, two hours, so it's pretty bad and unrefined... but mildly amusing. The background for the scenario is:

The two trolls have gotten themselves lost in the wilderness. But, after a while, they manage to bump into a group of Dwarves. After some initial hostilities, they both decide to chance sitting down to camp together.

Here's a translation for the Dwarves (for those who don't have their Anglo-Saxon Furthork handy).

Dwarf Leader: I don't trust them.
Dwarf Magic User: One good turn deserves another.

Dwarf Leader: Magic Mushrooms!

As for the invitation, I think I was too hasty... I am in no position to invite you in the first place... So unfortunately I have to withdraw my invitation. I am the least talented on in the group and I only saw 2 of your drawings... So I am not qualified to recruit. While they are excellent, you are more of an illustrator. Show us more of your art in the Gallery...

And I think I made quite clear on the post below... As much as I like your art, if you are only interested in designing and seeing your character being worked on, you cannot expect us to work on something for your interest... Sorry.

Future members can be added by any of these people.
These are the only people who are allowed to make/change the story, create characters, design characters, and suggest ideas.

I just think this is getting too much of a spam thread. too much people the are not part of our team are just pusing their ideas on us...

I'm really sorry, but in my vision a splitperson leader is just crap. hes supposed to be the strong leader that keeps the group together... dont make him a split person... and btw, we have the troll twins for scotzofrenia funny talk kind of scenes... those two are pretty much one :P.

so moon lunatic... stoppit... and buttink... dont force yourself on us. rains allready made up the story for his first part, and how the story continues from there is up to the next artist, thats the fun part of this project!! i'm really sorry for everyone who wants to participate in this but dunt have sufficiant drawing skills....

but if you think you have a superb idea, you could PM or email it to the artists thats 'on turn', and maybe he/she will use it. but please, and i kinda think i speak for the whole team, if i'm not spank me, stop posting random ideas in this thread. its getting polluted. i'm actually kinda sad that i had to post this all... more pollution >.<

I don't know... I kind of like to have ideas thrown at me.

When you look at it, we're directors. Not of film or theater, but of comics. The director's job is to make something artistic, creative and original. But, no director can be expected to create something all by themselves.

If a director takes it upon himself to solely create the material of his medium, then he severely limits his creative possibilities. After all, he is just one man, and one man can only be so creative.

Rather, a director must surround himself with creativity and watch, with an eagle's eye, for the things that he likes, and the things he finds useful. Therefore, directors need other people around, people who'll open up and share their creativity. He doesn't have to use every idea, only the ones he likes.

The director can also play with ideas, see how they go together, throw them away, rearrange them, and do what he wants with them. Many things he decides to look at may not end up in the final piece, but only through his experimentation will he determine this.

I really don't have a problem with all the 'idea/requests/suggestions' that people are making, as long as they understand that we, the directors, are free to take and leave what we like. In fact, I've already begun to play with a number of ideas suggested by posts on this thread.

That and, many of the 'official' artists, I feel, haven't posted much for me to think about... and I'm dying for feedback and ideas at this point. (We are brainstorming, aren't we?)

HURRAY!!!!! somone responded to my post. Finaly well my job was accomplished. after awial i was getting desprit becouse noone responded anyway anyone know how to fix overly bright scans not taht this is a help thread but it seems liek alot of us have this problem. Becouse, i have this cool ogre u could see but i cant scan him
