Guest | In the demo ( as a nightelf ) I could walk into the orc camp in the barrens and they were friendly to me. That shouldn't happen. They should be hostile to you. Anywayz, Here are my spell ideas: Druid: The animals the Druid turns into should have different class spells like in WoW Bear Form: Warrior Spells (you need to add a cat form) Cat form: Rogue spells etc. Hunter: The hunter should have more shooting spells and melee attacks (shooting: Concussive Shot (stuns the enemy for "x" seconds) Melee: Mongoose Bite (counterattack the enemy for "x" damage)) and maybe the ability to lay traps. Mage: The mage should be able to learn portal spells at cities that would transport him to that city. Also the mage should have a lesser invisiblility spell that would turn them invisible for a short period of time. The mage should be able to conjure food and water and have polymorph. Maybe you could have Fireball and Frostbolt as attacks and Pyroblast which is like a massive fireball. Also, there should be a frost spell that freezes all enemies around the mage in an icy blast. Paladin: The paladin should have more holy attacks instead of just heals and auras. And a spell to get rid of negative buffs. Priest: Holy Strike (or Holy Smite) should effect all units and not just undead. More attacks and the ability the resurrect players. Rogue: Ability to just toggle invisibility, but instead of going faster the rogue will move slower because he is sneaking. More stealth attacks. Shaman: Lightning bolt spell as a starting spell. Lots of Aura totems. A resurrecting spell. Warlock: More spells for pets. Shadow bolt as starting spell. Variety of curses. And more buffs Warrior: If stances are possible, that would be cool (aggressive, standard, and defensive stance) some attacks would only be available when in that stance. |

Guest | To all you (but mostly to fetsmg) Have you ever thought what Beantony is feeling every time some one posts a new ideas of theyrs. I think I would blow up in tousands of pieces, if some one would be constantly saying something new to add to my thingys. I'm not trying to bug anyone, but it seems some of us aren't allways thinking of others. It's good that someone gives out his ideas, but few is enough, and when ideas are wanted, they are asked. |

well i came to a conclusion. this project will never be completed. right now i think we should reconsider darkhorde's offer of merging our projects because well. we suck. |

@fetmacs: thanks for the idea, even if I couldn't take all of your idea. @Julle: thanks for your concern ^_^ @KingGigli: That was a nice offer, but didn't you know, I'm in the middle of the midterm test now? I can't check the forum often like few days ago. I'm still working hard for the new spell training system. If we merge with them, our efforts on the ideas, spells, etc. will be useless. @Nas: The terrain for the mulgore is done, but I haven't add any doodads, because I want to get the spell system up first before I continue on the terrain. I got your doodad map already, thanks. Btw, have you checked on killst4r's spires for 1000needles? @All: my midterm will be ended at 3rd of may, until then, I won't visit this forum very often. (I got 98% mark last semester, and I won't give it to my other friend ^_^ just kidding) |
