Guest | If i remember well, i managed to use at least two spellbooks... i'll see if i still have the map. If there is something to be concerned, however, is how to reload the abilities in another map. I know you could save the upgrade level as an integer, but i've no idea how you could reload it later... No you can't well i'm not sure, were they items or did you use abilities, did you make the spell book an item or ability? how many spells did you have? e.g. if i had 5, on one book and 5 on another i open up one and i see all 10 abilities. it might work with items, i'm not sure... |

yeah, that's what happen. i tried to remove the other 5, when click on one of the spellbook ability, but the trigger won't start even I use "generic unit event - unit begin casting ability" (without any condition still won't start, so it's no use if I put "Ability being cast" condition) I think clicking on a spellbook ability doesn't count as 'unit is casting ability' event. got any idea? |

Guest | I don't really remember how i did it (it was over a year ago) but i have one spellbook with 7 attack spells, and a gem with 5 summons spells. Plus the space for the standard hero abilities, that makes a good amount of skills. |

^^ as long as you only have one spellbook ability on the unit, it'll be okay. The problem will occured if you put 2 or more spellbook abilities on the unit. |

Guest | Well, the gem use the spellbook ability and don't override the other spellbook. I'll email you the map. |

okay, thanks. btw, the gem, is that an item with spellbook ability implemented on it? Okay, forgot, here's the progress: the skill buying system is done, works perfectly. You'll no longer need to choose the skill set anymore. Buy it, try to get all the class's abilities. the only problem is... the spellbook thing. |

Guest | Yes. It's a soulstone wich the warlocks use for the most powerful spells (in short any summons apart the imp and some item crafting abilities). |

I'll go check the map. using item to open spellbook skill isn't really a good idea, since the item will fill the inventory slot, but I think I'll try. |

Guest | You could ask in the trigger\general development forums then. There are a lot of experienced people there, and maybe they can give you some tips. |

I suggest trying to make a different system, like i did for UL, it took me all summer, but i did make a system that allowed the hero to have unlimited abilities, and not reset cooldowns. or just do with one spellbook or something i don't know, but i don't think the hero can have two spellbooks, and no you cannot detect the spellbook being opened |

Guest | A hero have can have more then 1 spell book. |
