1) Then don't check the no limits checkbox. If you use 1.13, it's obvious that it produces weird effects. 2) Report bugs of the 4.1 beta in it's thread: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=39725 |

One question: How do I make more tiles? Even with Remove Editor Limits on it won't let me! And the player property problem is cleared now...I reinstalled WarCraft III (no biggy) and now it works. I'v heard that WEU allows you to do up to 16 tiles, but I opened the CotN map (for educational purposes, I swear) and they had 24 worth! Help please. |

@ChaosWolfs: That is a known problem, that occurs if you want to open a map with an editor that doesn't contain one of the used trigger functions. The same would happen if you use a UMSWE-only trigger (in GUI) and you want to open the map in normal WE. For 1.13 compatibility you have to use UMSWE 4.1 beta. @Scyze: UMSWE doesn't and will not support that (it's not possible). With the W3Z Map Editor or WEU you can do 16 tiles. I don't know how DK used 24 tiles. |

NOT SURE if this was brought up or not.. and i havnt tried beta for 4.1 yet because im not an "experienced user" .. yet.. but i found a pretty damn annoying bug. So far i love your editor but theres a missing function thats in normal WE that i really needed :( Under Substring, you can normally pick item-item name, player-player name, and unit-unit name. But in your 4.0 UMSWE, theres no item-item name. Im about to just try exporting the trigger i need from normal WE to UMS but if it doesnt work then im screwed since ive been using alot of your nice custom triggers (such as generating items for heros, slot specific.. and text to force/player). Oh well, i know its a bit late to be posting this but i hope you read this freak. That way its not left in 4.1. -Huh PS- shooot it doesnt work i didnt realize you can only import a full set of triggers that erase your current ones. I've used so many of your custom ones :(.. does 4.1 fix this? I need to know because a key trigger im using to fix a bug in my map uses that item-item name substring. Thanks again. |

Does UMSWE means Use Map Settins World Editor? |
| 01-31-2004, 05:41 PM | #143 |
yes, UMS stands for use map settings |

Quote:
It is obvious that 4.0 doesn't contain that trigger call, as this is a feature Blizzard introduced with 1.13. UMSWE 4.0 was designed for 1.10-1.12 and hence it doesn't have this one. @ChaosWolfs: 1) There is no function to add buffs. 2) If you can't do this with Add Ability, then you simply can't do it. |

I noticed in UMSWE you can't point any ability to a specific buff like you can in normal WE. Is this something that was added to standard WE post version 1.12/1.13? Is there a newer version of UMSWE out that supports all the most recent functions in the WE? Is it compatible with maps made with UMSWE 4.0? Edit: Problem solved. |

Does UMSWE exist for Mac at all? Just curious, because apparently, UMSWE totally owns the standard WE... And... I'd like to get it. |

Unfortunately there is no Mac version, as there is no MPQDraft for Mac taht works for the WE. |

Does anybody have UMSWE 4.1 Beta 775? Or can you direct me to a link to it? Thanks. |
