Dranei Campaign

Here is a model I've made... how ever its WAY too many polys...
Too see a little bit of icon-work look at my icon download section at wc3sear.ch ... Most of it has however gotten outdated so there are only a couple of icons left...

I've pretty much done the map cache system...so im gonna start on unit editor soon...could we get hosted? or have we got no further there?

can you geomerge? if not, then you get the privilege to do all of the icons!!! YAY!!! a fun job. And aidan, I've never gotten your reply. Are we moving to SAMods? http://forums.samods.org link is there. And we just get it hosted quite easily (i think, i;ll get back to you on that later) and do u want a medical tent or armory?

Amory please...i don't mind where we are hosted...just we need somewhere to put the files where other people don't nick em...so get back to me will ya pl

What's the project's current status?
Terrain? Models? Skins?

The current status is...ok
I don't know about terrain or skinning...Uzhgi and RavenDraken are doing that, but i think the models are going ok. We have two of the building models so far, and as soon as we get the terrain done i can start the triggers

u mean, all of the building mdls except for the armory done. check previous posts. Oh, when you look at the towncenter, plz tell me how to make it into a lvl 2.

For the town centre, increase the size and maybe add a secondary roof, and possibly a log(see Warcraft TFT Dranei buildings) slanting accross the roof. For the 3rd level (if we make one) just add another log

I'm only doing icons o_O

This'll probabally be my last post here an I'll give a Terrian Progress report. No screenies yet

anyway. I've got all the lay out but now Builds or friendly NPCS in yet and a few creeps

Here is the quest outline for scene 1 act 1 (or whatever you want to call it)

Scene 1 Act 1 Weather=snowing



C: (you) save a caravan heading for town

*Akama thanks you and tells you to look around. :E

Triggered: {when talks to (Billy) person at barracks}

*told to look for the outpost that hasn't yet reported in

Triggered: {when outpost is found {when talks to (Nelson) head person at outpost}}

*kill the leaders of the (centaur) clan [(something)]

Triggered: {when above quests are completed {when talks to Akama}}

*go to (canyon) and look for (animal hides) because we/I need them for (clothing)

Triggered: {when (animal hides) are all collected {(you) nears exit}

A: rocks with a snow skin fall over blocking exit. Display text saying that you have to find a new way around. Edit quest.
*On new way found (you) find (something) amiss





The next scene is started after you find your way out. I'm working on that one.

Mouse.Pad reportiig for duty

This is Outland. It won't be snowing, forget about that.
Don't even think of calling Draneis Billy or Nelson. Right now, this looks a little too basic. We have hardly got any idea what the hell is going on. Although it may be intended that way since I'm not in the project. But if this is for your team mates, then you should be warned that no one can do mind reading and unless you clarify yourself more, they won't have a clue what to do.

where is wc3forums? Never heard of that one before.

Keep in mind that you can get a forum at samods, and war3forums.

And are you guys gonna use my story? Because from the outline I read above it doesn't look like it.
