Dranei Campaign

Ok...I have made a start on this, it will be a little like the Orc campaign, (YES I AM THAT GOOD WITH TRIGGERS :)) but i need some help:
A story artist
A modeler
A couple of terrainers
Someone for Items

I havn't got that many ideas about the story yet, but i am making the basic map that you go to at the end of each mission. Can people post here, my MSN is [email protected] if ur interseted post here or email me

What's the story? Have you written the Campaign Script yet? Do you know what's going to happen in the campaign? Have you done anything, yet? You can't say that you're going to make a campaign when you don't even know what is going to happen in it. It just doesn't work.
Let's do this step by step.
You'll never EVER find a modeler if you haven't started anything, yet. Modelers don't join projects if they don't see that it is going somewhere. Skinners are easier to find, but good skinners are the same as modelers. If you want modelers and good skinners, then start on your campaign and show that you are actually doing something. For now, just rely on the Request Forum.
Anyone can do items. Any moron with half a gram of brain can do items, so don't bother with that too much. You can just make them in your free time, or someone else can. It's really easy.
Keep in mind that you need to know who your characters are going to be. How many maps there will be and what happens in each. What happens in the campaign, what's the main plot...etc. You get the point.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but thats the only way you'll find a team to help.

Anyway, take it from a moderator like myself as well Aidan (at last, an easy name), Santa is very right with what he said. Though I have a few doubts of what he said (a campaign script? :\) you can assure he is right in all he said.
Though, even though there are modelers who join up with only these information, it only happens rarely. You could use the models in the w3searc and reskin them though, that works often enough too.

Also, always plan a story before making it. I'm an official story writer myself, so, I know how bad it is ;) By all means, just create a story before anything else, and even features if neccessary. Also, show work of yourself, since, well... I don't know you. If I don't know you, I doubt other people do ;) Especially with a post count of 36 and a join date of... ugh...

Well, if there's any help needed with ANY story, I am always willing to help.

How is it that you want people to help you with items? :\ Every cow can make items, that's not too hard to do. If you meant changing the model of the item, knock on the door of Darky, I think he can help you there ;)

By Campaign Script I meant a campaign outline. Like what happens at which stage of the campaign and that kind of stuff.

Wouldn't you just include that with the story? Looks to me like the most logical.

Yes, i have started.
The basic storyline is, you, born as a Dranei living in oulands, seek to build up a new civilization using dranei and other creatures of the Outlands, firstly to defeat the invading Orcs, next to overthrow the dranei leader, and become the Dranei Overlord youself, and finally to attempt to bring Dranei towards a recognised Race of the Warcraft III world
As you can see it needs more depth to it (which my bro is doing soon) but i could do with a terrainer (correct flaidan) to make the basis of the maps.
Is that any better Satanas and Fladian, and i know my post count is low...i stopped making maps for a while but im back now (i did about 20 posts in the last month)

How much do you know of the draneis? Is this psat wc1/2? if it is, none would follow you if you killed another dranei, since they are all very busy fighting felorcs. If it is post wc1/2, there will be no need overthrowing someone, or fighting orcs, or any of that stuff.

The Draneis were busy fighting the Orcs post Wc 1/2. It says that they were the last enemy of the Horde before they invaded Azeroth.

I said the story needed a bit of work, so if you would help me then...

Well, like I said above. The Draneis were the last true enemies of the Horde before Wc 1. They didn't last very long, but apparantly they did put up a bit of a fight. Then they remained in hiding during all of wc2/2xp and they reappear during wc 3 TFT where they are fighting the Fel Orcs. They ally with Illidan and storm the Black Citadel.
According to WoW some Draneis have been spotted in the Swamps of Sorrows in Azeroth. But they are probably currently busy fighting the Fel Orcs in Outland. Thats all that is known about the Draneis.

So could there be a possible storyline here, (like they killed the Fel Orcs) or summit like that?

A. You could tell the story of how a group of Draneis managed to escape their race's annihilation by going in hiding before Wc1 when the Orcs are invading. A possible hero would be Akama who's leading the Draneis to safety after he realizes the Dranei's can't win the war.

B. Again with Akama, you could tell of his guerrilla against the Fel Orcs just before he met Illidan and his Alliance with him and the Blood Elves.

C. You could tell of the story of the Draneis rebuilding their ancestral home after TFT while holding the Fel Orcs at bay.

I like C, because i don't wanna use Akama, d'ya reckon u could write me a story?
