All I did to make that .ZIP was to take copy all of the files in my image extractor 2 folder into a .zip archive. I haven't needed to re-install FT after using IE2, so it can't be my fault. Besides, like PitzerMike said, a .ZIP can't delete files. The only way it could be responsible is if you purposefully over-wrote the origionals. Jeez flamethrower, think before you ignite. As to the guy who actually asked for it, I hope it works out for you. |

I found this on the Homeworld Ship Editor Troubleshooting FAQ: - This error has been reported with all versions of Windows. To fix this error... - First download COMDLG32.OCX and copy it into the \Windows\System32 directory. - Then, open the run dialog box using "Start | Run..." and enter "Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\comdlg32.ocx" to register the DLL. I hope this helps other googlers who stumble across this page whilst searching for a solution to the stupid windows problem. |

What about looking at this FAQ Thread here? There is even a link in my sig to it. It's much easier to follow this guide there than what you just posted. |

Maybe so, but for people googling the .ocx related problem specifically, your FAQ thread won't show up (since the file name isn't even on the page). I'm just hoping that people like me, who found this forum looking for a solution to that particular problem, will be helped by my previous post. Also, I'm not familiar with these boards, but if you can edit your FAQ thread post, I'd put the solution for the .ocx problem right in there in the first post. |
