I thought I fixed that,
what are the exact steps to generate such an error?

Greetz,
DJBnJack

Ps. you might wat to resize non-square textures to squares.
Saving to .blp on non-square textures 'might' not work.

-open mpq file
-extract image to tga

The msvb 6 runtime can be found on the w3 cd, just take a search.

I copyed the "ijl15.dll" from my W3 directory into the same folder that my Image extractor was in and that solved my problems.

would be nice if the skins weren't all spread around in different parts... why are some of them in textures instead of just in their unit folders?

I get the error "The file <path> has an unsupported compression" when I try to open a .tga file I had edited. The steps I took were...

-Extracted the .blp file from the .mpq
-converted it to .tga and saved it
-edited the .tga
-attempted to open the .tga in wc3 image extractor II
-got the error

I'm attempting to make a counter-strike themed map and I am trying to make various weapon and equipment icons for it.
I've tried copying the .tga and pasteing it onto the original and saving again, but I get the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated! An email would be nice cause I often forget to recheck these message boards, but I'll try to check the forums for a reply. I've included the tga I'm attempting to work with.

The link in the original post in this thread no longer points anywhere useful. Also, I cannot find this program listed in the Downloads section. I've even checked DJBnJack's Geocities page for this tool, to no avail. Does anyone know of a mirror?
