I really don't have a clue what you are trying to tell me with these pics. I havn't ever used such a thing as a game view.
Really if it works in-game I wouldn't care at all.

I found a huge bug :( :( :(

Well, on my map its been going great thanks to alot of people and WEU, but recently, after saving the map with World Editor Unlimited, everything came with a greenish tint. So, everything that normally was blue, like auras etc turned yellow (blue and green makes yellow). And some other stuff turned green... Examples...

lightning bolt - half blue and half yellow
auras around the units being effected (not the caster) - turned full green
holy lantern - turned full yellow (no blue)
magical runes - turned full yellowish white (no blue)
***Even the clock thing in the top middle when it is blue for night time turns green!!!! it is a green moon!!!***
and many more!!

**This effect is in both world editor unlimited and in wc3**

To top off the confusion, sometimes the color even goes back to normal, but then distorts after i open it again... Please help!

i hate green & yellow things when they are supposed to be blue :(

**note, other map i used saved with WEU did not screw up the map like this one did**

**other maps not saved by WEU have started to screw up color ever since about a few days after installing WEU. Screws up my screen's graphics and other peoples' too**

If you could help, that would rock, because I would hate to go back to regular WE :( :< o_O :( :< o_O

Hmm, you said it affects other maps that haven't been edited with WEU as well? Does it ever turn greenish in non-wc3 related applications and in normal desktop? Because it might be your monitor getting old.

How old is old? my monitor is less than a year old and my comp isn't bad. And no, nothing else screws up except for the occasional inverting of colors when I Alt-Tab a certain application but then it goes back to normal after about 1-2 seconds.

The same map same version did not turn greeney on my bro's comp but he doesnt have WEU. My comp did, and maybe it possibly edited some files that are on warcraft (glow models or whatever)

I tried reinstalling wc3 c ompletely and sstill didnt work.
1 more thing, i change my opinion on green everything, the only thing bad are 2 things: yellow runes when they are supposed to be blue, and GREEN AURAS around units :< At least i think i can fix the yellow runes do you think this would work? make em a custom unit with full green (opposit of yellow i think) tints.


Edit: plus when i asked a lot of people first they suggestied video card, but then since it shows up on other peopls comps and everything they suggested "a third party editor was f*cking up the map and never to use that sh*t."

Of course this isnt crappy editor I hope, so how could i fix this?

sure i hope this comes through..... check the runes in the top left in front of the heros. they are normally blue but if they are yellowy white then it is screwed..

its my first map ever so dont laff if you think it sucks

Ok, I know what the problem is. First of all, it's the files you have imported into your map, they are overwriting the glow and the runes, just to check that it is indeed them I removed them from the import manager and everything went back to normal. If you need them for the map rename the path of the file so it doesn't interfere with the actual object skin in the mpq. Second just because someone doesn't reply to your post immediatelly doesn't mean you have to post again saying "NO ONE CAN HELP ME?????????????????????????11111 :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< ". Anyway, that's what's causing the problem for you and it has nothing to do with WEU, btw the map opens in standard non-WEU editor.

thats because in this version i took out all the advanced triggers, and stuff, to check if that was the problem, and sorry i didnt know 6 hours "immediately" im just never been on this forum, the other forum i was on usualy posts took 10 minutes to 1 hour and sometimes 2 hours

the glow moddels were for some spell i imported from wc3sear.ch (in case you were wondering.)

edit: u rock!! it worked
edit: which files exactly do i have to remove or must i remove all of em
edit: and if its any help, it was from a custom spell for starfall called Rain of Fire

well if you're not using any of them you might want to remove them all, this will reduce map size. If you need some then just keep the ones you're using and remove the rest. I'm not sure exactly which ones cause this but the one that changes rune color is probably the one with "Rune" in its name, I remember one of them had it in there, and "GreenGlow" might be causing aura glows to be green.

i actually was using the green one, all of em are used for a custom starfall spell, and a lil of green was mixed in there, now it looks a lil weird because half of it is blue, but it still works. The map isnt that big right now, its about 670kb.
