You know I have been working on a new version of WE Unlimited for quite a while now and finally here it is. For the download, installation notes and tutorials on the usage of WEU check the official WE Unlimited homepage out: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/tools/weu

What's new? Well, I can't remember all the additions I made as there are so many, but you can check out the features list you will find on the homepage.

Some important additions:
  • The advanced triggers now also work on bnet for multiplayer maps
  • The size of imported files has been reduced remarkably
  • You can update your old maps created with WEU 1.12
  • You can now load maps in the WEU Enhancer and activate/deactivate every single feature
  • You can also add up to 16 tiles to already existing maps
  • It offers a multiselect import manager which means you don't have to type in the path for every single imported file
  • It can merge object editor data files (w3u, w3t, w3d, w3b, w3a, w3h, w3q)
  • There are many tutorials available on the WEU homepage that show you how to use all the features
  • Fixed sooo many bugs of the old version including the freezing player properties bug
I'd also like to thank all of the contributors out there especially Starcraftfreak and TheProphet and wc3campaigns for the hosting.

Have Fun!

Great!!! I love this Editor:ggani: :ggani: Especially the Advanced Triggers, I need some for my map[example add damage for unit(didn't want to make hundrets of abilities for that...)] and the new Wait for ... Actions(The Condition waits are useless for me). I will give you credits in Quests(Don't want to make Loading Screen in first versions)!!!
Now i can complete my spells8)) :D :D :D :D

I am sorry I couldn't help you in the beta test, it is just too difficult for me to keep downloading 5.8 MB files every day.

Anyways, Congratulations and thanks for helping the comnunity by making this editor

Ack nm my origianl post. Is there any way to remove added cliff tiles from zepir's editor after the fact. WEU doesn't seem to let me. Great editor by the way!

PitzerMike
Toth, you can, but it's not a good idea, if the tile is used in the map.

First make sure that the tile is not used in any point of the map's terrain. (just check in the WE and place other tiles if you find it somewhere).

Then In the WEU Enhancer go to 'editor settings' and deactivate the checkbox for 'perform security checks'.
This will allow you, when you load the map in the WEU Enahancer, to remove every tile of the map.

But this could mess the order of the tile list and change all your terrain completely, that's why it's normally not allowed. Better replace the tile by another one.

Ahh Ok I guess I will leave it be. I just wanted to switch one of the cliff tiles for a non cliff tile but that doesn't look possible. Oh well doesn't matter your editor finally allowed me to add 3 more tiles regardless! Wohoo (thank you). Never could get them to show in game with Zepir adding them but yours works like a charm.

One problem I am having though... I am trying to enable the advanced triggers. I edited the map with the enhancer and turned on advanced triggers. I then saved the map and opened it in the WEU. It will detect it just fine and add the triggers after which I can run a trigger at map initialization with the action to turn on advanced triggers. Only problem is if I reopen the map the advanced triggers ALL disappear from the list. Not only that but no matter what I do I can't seem to get them back on that copy of the map and I am forced to revert to a saved copy of the map where I never attempted to turn on advanced triggers. Any ideas?

If you mean that the advanced triggers don't show up in the actions-list in the trigger editor any more, then it can only be caused by the editor settings (if you deactivated 'show advanced trigger functions' in the enhancer).
Other than that WEU will definitely show the advanced triggers.

Or you might have opened the map with the ordinary WE by accident (so the advanced triggers won't show up)

I found a very hard bug.
life leech doesn't work
I can explain it:
Life Leech is in %, that means 1 is 100%, and Integers over 1 don't work, so you can just change with life leech to leech 100% life or no life...
Please fix that!

//edit: fixed the caps lock abuse

PitzerMike
Yes, I'll have to fix that some day.

@all
I'll be away for the next two weeks or so.

So please read the documentation at the WEU homepage if you have any questions, they should all be answered there.
Maybe also one of the beta testers can help you.

hmmmm the enhancer isnt importing blizzard.j anymore.... is that normal?
And why the hell do i get a compile error which deactivates the save trigger... O_o?

I heared i will get problems when i use advanced triggers in maps which are made by the normal WE Oo? (if this is so... this is stupid cause the last WEU was able to import blizzard.j and so i was able to add advanced functions in normal maps)

By the Event" Dialog button is clicked" are many variables like zz_gamestart-Dialogue
What are they for???????

All Tiles Buildable? What means that?????

At last... Ur homepages has no scrollbar in the left frame... i cant scroll down it end by "voting-system"
FIX: Everyone who hats the same problem i took a look at the source code^^
http://umswe.wc3campaigns.com/weu/layout/navig.html

Did you make sure that Use Advanced Triggers is turned on for the map in the Enhancer?

Use the Edit Map function of the enhancer to enable Advanced Triggers in the map.

Don't touch them. They are used in the advanced triggers.

It means that structures can be built on all tiles (even the ones that are normally unbuildable) on the map.

What resolution are you using? It works fine at 1280x1024.

35263526 meant it does NOT use blizzard.j in this version, it puts all the stuff that would normally be in elsewhere to prevent the same problem that happend when update to 1.13 came out (any maps that were made with the old WEU that had a blizzard.j would crash the map) so PizterMike removed the "Blizzard.j" import and add the info that was added to the Blizzard.j somewhere else.
