So shich bird should I use as a thunderbird then? I can skin them in any color.. But I cant find the Netherdrake skin anywhere so if its gonna be that skin, its gonna stay that way.

From all this I wouldnt say a thunderbird can be caught or tamed.. :)

where did we get the name thunderbird rider? Is that whats its called in the game or did we come up with that later? Cause we can just call what its called in the game or if its already called the thunderbird then in the warcraft world they have already been cought.

I dont know if it exists in the warcraft world. But I could find another creature to ride.

actually i never said that i belived it could be caught or that it was tamed , actually i thought more of it as the trolls learned of them and tried to understand them and therefore it is more the thunderbird that tames them .

about the skin and stuff, i'd still prefer we skinned the phoenix and mounted some kind of troll on it, i think making it blue with white lightning stripes on it(any of you played heroes of might and magic 3 or 4?, if you have you know what i'm talking about)

Its going to be hard to edit the Phoenix skin... The only part of the actual model that I can find is its portrait. I think the rest of it consists of effects just like the netherdrake.

I started to make a list of missions kinda like the one knight of ni sent me but its hard because we dont have the full story worked out and agreed on yet. But what im doing is im making a list of the missions and then im listing the quests and the opitional quests for those missions. I did 1 and 2 today and I have some ideas for 4 or 5. I think what we should aim for is a fun mission, something thats differnt about it then the normal build a base then destory the enemy's. Some of these missions are ok, but I'd like to see some other mission ideas and maybe even some missions that havent been done yet or at least that often.

Mission idea:

Troll village has been in trouble for some years now and its only getting worse. A nearby village has stolen an artifact (right?). The strongest warrior of the village has been sent out to follow an ancient myth of a warrior frozen in ice in the mountains. But a week later no news. One of the villagers wants to know what happened so he goes out to find out. After some travelling he finds the body of the village hero and it looks like he has been robbed and murdered. Since the village desparately needs help the villager decides that he will finish the quest and heads for the mountain. All along the way he finds himself opposed by all kinds of Ice-creatures. And finally, exhausted he finds the frozen hero. He touches some weird rune and by draining the villagers' lifeforce the ice starts to melt. With his last breath the villager tells about the trouble in their village and the Hero sets off to save the day.

Ok, I don't know what happened over at ********, I told them that I would considder it, but since the site is very unpopular here I was about to tell them not to, whatever, I'll try to have them delete the forum that they made for us.
Also, I'd really like if someone could take over the lead from me, since I've just got a g/f who takes up a lot of my time, so I'm gonna have even less time here from now on, I'm really sorry about this, but please, anyone who wants to be the project leader, tell me, so we can have the best guy for the job. Remember, I'm not leaving the project, I will still be around, but not far as much as I used to.

Well, the problem with wc3c is that a third of them are inactive. Pretty dumb I think. If u get this hosted at mod-forge, it chould be the threaty that will end this "flame war".
