Wrath of the Trolls

Some of you might remember this campaign project, but probably not. The forum where we had it hosted got hacked so the project just like fell apart and we lost all our data, so now I'm trying to resurrect it.

The storyline is like this (as far as I remember):

In Quel'thalas a tribe of evil trolls have corrupted a river so that all the creatures that drink from the water are becoming corrupted as well. Also, in their lust for power they have stolen a sacred artifact from another tribe of trolls (I don't want to say "good" trolls here, since all forest trolls by nature are unfriendly to all other races) and capture some of the other trolls for their dark rituals.
Offcourse the other tribe gets quite upset (if not to say angry) about this, so they decide to hunt down the evil trolls, reclaim their artifact and free their bretheren, so they begin pursuiting the evil trolls towards the south. On their way they team up with some Goblins (I can't remember the reason why they do this, but it'll sure be possible to find one).
As they close in on the evil tribe it appears that they are changing their direction towards the sea to the east, but also that the mountain pass that they went through shortly after was taken over by the undead lead by an ambitious necromancer. The other tribe does not have the time to find another way around, so therefore they tempoarily ally themselves with a small army of humans and dwarves that are also trying to reach the sea so that they can escape the undead.
The two armies attack the undead together, but as they are victorious it is revealed that some of the goblins stole some of the dwarves' flying maschines to attack the undead from behind. The humans and dwarves see this as treachery and want revenge. The trolls escape the humans and dwarves just in time to find out that the evil trolls have already taken to the sea. So the other trolls have nothing to do other than finding some other ships in order to continue their pursuit.

The storyline doesn't go any further than this, but it might need some more tweaks and detail.

Personally I can do terraining, spell editing (this has become very easy with TFT) and and some basic triggering, so what I need is:

-a terrainer (it can be tiresome to do all this alone)
-a triggerer (I can only do very basic things myself)
-a skinner
-a modeller (not necesarrily, but it would really improve it all)
-and possibly a concept drawer

Personally I hope to see some of the old team.

Everyone are wellcome to come up with ideas, I got plenty myself, but I'm sure others can do just as well8)

wrath of the trolls is something ive always be interested in. Im kinda busy right now, but might be able to find some time to do a skin or two. :D

I know you will. Best of luck to you. I'll join if I ever get my former feel back, but for now I think I'll sit and watch my and many other peoples ideas get put into motion once more.

I can help you with triggers, if you're in trouble, but won't be able to do them for you (I'm making my own huge campaign (around 15-20 missions) that will be happening in Quel'Thalas shortly before Frozen Throne - and yes, there will be a whole race of Trolls in there).

Ah, good to see that at least someone are interested, but what I really need are people that are not busy with other projects so that I can form a real team that I can discuss things with. Solo projects almost never become good.

It would also be nice if people would just throw in a few ideas so it can get some diversity, but don't worry, everyone will get credit for everything.

You are very wellcome to help, but I don't have an account at brokenedge.net and when I tried to go there only the text showed up, so it was quite hard to navigate, so I'll try to make an account there later.

Hey I sent you a PM but I guess I'll post here too. I'm not working on any other projects except some melee maps but those arent any real priority. Anyways I could help with terrian, and I could give you ideas for anything else, but all I realy know how to do is terrain. I havent ever worked with a team though so if I'm not that much help you can just give me the boot.

I'm sorry, The Lord, but I had to delete everything in my WC3 directory when I had problems with installing TFT. Could you send them to me in some way if you still have them? You will offcourse get credit for everything.

heres a picture of some of my work I hope it helps. I also of some ideas for the story, some item ideas, some spell ideas, and some other ideas. Also who all is helping in this, and whos doing what? I'm doing terrain maybe. I also have some story ideas I'll post them here when im finshed with them as well.

Wow, it is actually quite good, could need some small improvement here and there, but all over it is very good:D You are in!

yea there are somethings I messed up on but I figuered itd be good to show you something. but anways I'll look for people to help us and when I find them I'll let you say if they are good enough. when we get more people and we get this thing rolling is there a way we could have our own private fourm or anything like that for the team to talk in? also if you have anything that you want me to work on just tell me and I'll get started.
