okay, firt i appolugise for the VERY slow process right now... my exams are nearing and vig's busy with school as well so...

lets just say its due this summer :)

just to let you know, we áre still working on it... hehe...

we made a little change in attributes of some of Illidans heros:
Aphrodite, from intel to agil
Usha Tendor, from agil to str
Blaze the Burning, from str to intel.

we think the heros will work a lot better with their new stat =D

why?

Aphrodite has a passive healing skill that couses your attack to heal allies... (attack allie to heal), when she is agility she will get both good speed and samage bonusses, thus increasing her healing capicity GREATLY...

Blaze as intell... well reather obviouse, hes a badass caster dude... he will not be as week as you might think though, becouse of his flaming armor skill he will still be able to absorb some dmg, his focus, however, will be on dealing lots of dmg through casting...

Usha Tendor as strength... we have replaced his skill that avaoids ranged attacks, for a skill that has a good crit and a good evation, but becomes active when at 30% health... when he becomes strength, he will be able to reach higher amounts of HP, thus making this skill more efficiant. he well still play like your typical assin dude though... this guy will BLOOM in late game ^^~!

some more news, concerning Anubis and Medusa.

Anubis has some new skills, that are somewhat diffrent, but he ramains mostly the same.

he will be able to summon a couple of mummies, that fight for him. the mummies will be very tough, but have a very low attack. when they die, it will release a sufficating clowd, decreasing a targets attack damage and rate.
(you know those mummies from diabloII??)
he will have somekind of trapm, called mark of anubis. you mark a target area, and when enemy unit comes too close it'll get NUKED...
his ultimate will greatly down someones armor, and reveal his sight to the enemy. (feary fire....)
aaaaaand then he'll get one other skill... we dont know what yet. something usefull and fitting to an egyption tinted unit.

medusa will have grosj, her pet turtle that can level up,
she'l; have spring well, a regenerative aura that drains mana, can be turned on/off.
she'll have somekind of beefing passive, possibly an aura.
and gaze of the gorgon, she'll be able to turn someone to stone. a stone unit cannot move, attack or cast spells. when attacked the spell is broken, but the target will take extra damage on the first attack.

right, i have some new idea again... :)

what if we where to have neutral heros? but not purchasable at tavarns, but pickable at the beginning of the game, like normal heros.

like, there will be three sets of heros, Maievs, Illidans and the Neutrals.

at the beginning of the game, as a maiev player, you will be able to pick either a neutral or a maiev hero

an illidan player will be able to pick a neutar or illidan hero.

once a (neutral)hero is picked, it cannot be picked again.

i think this would be so cool, becouse we can now put in panda heros, troll heros, orc heros etc etc, it'll be a broadning of gameplay

if you are talking aboyut the 'normal' heros for each side, check out the other thread thats linked in my sig, or go read this entire thread... (doubt u feel like doing that lol)

ehm.. yes, the neutral heros, wich will we put in? iots kind of a mystery actually lol... i do have some thoughts on it though:

-a goblin tinker based off the shadownhunter model, or a shadow hunter guy. SOME troll at least, cuz trolls pwn.

-somekind of panda warror

-somekind of blademaster thing, very likely without bladestorm, and if he gets bladestorm it'll more likely give a speed bonus and spell imunity reather then high damage. (sashy sucks :< ) it could make a beuitifull escape skill...

-i really want to make something like the stealth assasin, if not just copy the bloody guy... just to make an oath to dota or something... anyway, something with PERMANENT invis would be very sweet. and no, dont think overpower, we'll just be very weak and true sight will be available.

-somekind of storm mage, we dont have elec spells yet, and they have great potentional ^^.. think something like blaze and muradin, with a passive that increase the effectiveness of his skill, probubly just up the dmg... or speed maybe? cooldowns increase would be very sweet lol...

-somekind of dreadlord life stealer hero? since the dreadlords now operate seperate from the scourge... the might have interes in joining both teams.

-a proudmore guy, personally i dont like him too much, but i know hes quite populair and people will be kinda dissapointed if they donty see a proudmore dude.

-a tauren earth mage? we dont have an earthmage yet, abnd tauren fill that spot very nicely ^^~!

-and finally, it would be kinda cool to ahve someone with a miltishot ability... just for the sake of coolness lol...

-(EDIT) maybe some beatmaster based figure? wouldnt know what top do with him though....

thats about my suggestions... any ideas on what to put in, and what to go think about? i call upon the community once more... please, your thoughts....

We can make a lot of heroes we cudnt make before, think BM ^_^ (i love BM's cept that overpowered sashi dude)....

BUT
I think we shud focus on the ''basic'' heroes first, make them pwn, and launch beta ! it sudnt take long... we cud have beta up in a month I (erw busy) will finish it... i have some sparetime.....

AND, the hero pick system will go as the following:
U get a menu for your head, with the choises ''random, let leader decide, decide yourself''
''let leader decide'': if a minumum of 3 of the 5 players chooses this, the first player of the team can choose the heroes of his team. This way u can get really balanced teams, w/o stupid newbs who pick the wrong characters for the team.....

omg im going to finish costal conflict w/o erw o0'' lol...

Good news guys... i made a deadline for myself:
Coastal conflict early beta will be finsihed in 3 weeks.
Beta testing will find place in may break.. (dont now how they call it in other countries.. whatevr)

right, vig just had a breakthrough on anubis...

his class with be a theomacer.
we the game with feature several '-mancers'. a mancer always has a passive that effects his kills, like blaze the burning (pyromancer) has a passive that gives his skills an 'afterburn', muradin ('ice'mancer) will have a passive that gives all his skills a slow (freeze), medusa will be the hydromancer, giving her skills err... not quite sure yet, but it will include regeneration. added in neutral heros will be at least two more mancers, the geomacer and the 'weater' or 'electro' mancer.
what theire passives will do is not certain yet, but i think that elec willget a dmg boost for his skils, and theb geo is not certain yet, something earthy... prolly dmg boost against buildings.

now for anubis's skills, he will be adapt at altering his enmies states...
-'minions' (looking for suitable title)- he sommones a mummy from a corpse. the mummy will be extremely tough, but slow and low damaged. at death, they will release a poisonouse fume that will decay enemies that are cougt in it. they will also have a kabooom based spell, so you can sacrifice them.
-mark of anubis- anubis sommones a ward, probubly invisible, that can only attack heros. after one attack it destroys itself, so the attack will be high damaged.
-not entirely sure yet- probubly an AoE skill that will either down the attcak dmg of enemies or give them a chance to miss.
-ancient curse (passive)- anubis gets an aura that decreases enemies armor, and his attacks wll decreae armor as well. mark of anubis and his minions will garn an armor decreasing attack as well.

prety nifty eh?

some ideas for some neutral heros:

we'll have a blademaster reskinned to match the beatmaster, make it the same race. he'll be a sneaky bastard.
his ultimate will be dmg in a line nuke, but not the usual one. he launches himself forward in a bladestorm, thus damaging everything with the bladestorm, then when he hits the target, he will perform a 'clap', stunning and damaging in an aoe.
he will also have a new kind of critical, when he criticals, he'll cast a spell un the target that will decay it, but if it gets cast again the decay will stack...
nifty...

the beastmaster himself will prolly be reskinned to have a tigercloth. he'll be a strong tanker, that uses tiger-like skillies... i think.

other then that we'll most likely have a shadow hunter,
a tauren (spiritwalker?)(the geomancer)
a proudmoore (who doesnt love him?)
i have no idea yet what the elemancer will be... meybe medivh, but thats so tobbish...

hmm yeah, but the neutral heros will not be in the first beta yet so we wont worry about that ^^~!

it would be soooooo lovely to have a goblin hero... but what skin to use??
pretty sure it needs to be a reskinned troll... but wich one?? or maybe... some other creature that could be a goblin... hmm....

right... kath has been changed a little.

Kath'ranis Remar (name will change...)

-Disrupt- basically, its silence.
-Whorl of Pain- a channelled bind skill, based off aerial shackles.
-Magic Addiction- kath is addicted to using magics... if he doesnt use magic in a while, he will start to get slower and slowely lose health. tapping into his mana, however, gives him such a rush that his movement and regen are boosted for a little while.
-Illusion- Create a copy of target unit, friend or foe.

some more thoughts on neutral dudes:
three mognatal heros, a blademaster, a caster and a tank (beastmaster)
a goblin hero and a gnome hero...
an elemancer, that uses electricity...
a tauren geomancer, that casts earth spells
a panda =)
aaaaand... maybe some more.. but this is what i'm allmost certain off...^^~!

THE GOBLIN TINKER!!!

BWHAHAHAHAHAAHAH...

with a bit altered skills, ofcourse.

alse there will be a mognathal axemaster and a mognatal barbarian.

not much is known about theire skills, exapt that the barbarian will probubly be diablo inspired...

the barbarian will have an autocasted spell, like searing arrows, that after each hit makes his attack speed faster.

the axemaster will have an very cool ultimate, its somekind of crossover between a damage-in-a-line skill and bladestorm...
the axemaster launches himself forward to target unit or location, while he performs a powerfull bladestorm. when he hits the target he lands with such force that he stuns an AoE....

*Mayor hero leetness braketrough!* [edit] omfg its brAKEtrough not brEAKtrough what was i thinking? =P

Erw and i wernt really positive of some tank heroes, so we totally changed Guna, Crypt lord, and Apocolypse.
What 15 minutes brainstorming with a nice sun can do to ur wc3 game :D

To start with Guna:

-Crushing Wave.
We didnt alter this one. Only now it effects buildings.. so its a stronger skill.
-Coral Skin.
A basic increase-armor aura that effect all units in a moderate area. Just a modified devotion aura, thats all.
-United Stand.
Not sure of the name, but this is gonna be a spirit-link kinda skill. U link urself with a group, causing to share the damage. Together with a armor aura and his leet ultimate, this shud fall together nicely.
-Guna's Rage.
Increases attack speed of a target hero, but rapidly decreases his health. U better have the Raged one linked up and ready to go with this spell, it can be a bit dangerous....

Lord Garithos: The Commander of the Apocolypse.
-Soul Rift.
We wont change this skill.. its fine as it was, a nice croud control skill ^ ^
-Fear of the Commander. (name will change i guess)
This is kinda wierd skill. U offer a taret unit, to heal all friendly units around him, and temporary (very short, like 2 secs) increase attack speed and movement speed.
-Iron Discipline. (aura)
Slowly draines HP of all nearby units, but increases the attack of all nearby units. Make sure u offer to heal with this one.. it may kill u if ur not paying attention to ur HP.
-Dismount.
What can i say. It stays the same ^ ^

To end the row: the Scarabian Mauler.
-Maul.
A stunning clap in a small area of effect, dealing small damage with a rather short cooldown.
-Scarabian Swarm.
Summons a swarm of angry scarabian beetles to tear upon enemy flesh, and recovering your HP. U now... a nerfed locust swarm.
-Scarabian Hunger. (passive)
Gives the scarabian a life-stealing attack with each blow he lends on a enemy unit.
-Death Carpace.
The scarabian mauler pushes out his deadly spikes, giving him a incredebly damage return for a moderate duration. Also increases armor slightly.(it has a moderate duration becouse u the damage return wont work at ranged units)

hehe... its like we injected those heroes with leetness-heroine. They rule now... some of these heroes where very early creations and had to be changed. They arnt very hard to make, so we will have them up in no time (no worry kamux.. we wont let u do anything ;) )

Model:Proudmoore, skin made bloodier
Abilities
1. Red Wave-Crushing Wave but bloody
2. Tainted Blood-Unholy Frenzy on self
3. Gaping wound-Shadow Strike but made so looks like targeted unit is bleeding lots while afffected
4. Ulti- Crimson Barrage-Calls down his flagship, The Bloody Mary, to strike his enemies with it's cannons. Like in TOB DOTM Call of the Sky-modded Rain of Chaos but no spawn.

the ultimate is duscuassable... the rest is teh suxxor, o cant really see the skill cooperate very wel with eachother... and a paly fiering a wave of any kind looks really lame.

the ultimate is fun though... some heavy bombardment, with huge bombs flying in and landing like BAM BAM.. yeah that could be fun... ^^~!
