After the wars, when the lich king was revived, Illidan and his followers fled to the far shores of Kalimdor. Driven to the near adge of insanity, Maev was still obsessed with hunting down Illidan and bringing him to justice. After she was rejected by Malfurion and Tyrannanede, Maev became desperate. The Lich king, also still wanting to destroy Illidan, saw Maevs slow descent into Insanity, and siezed his chance. he offered to help Maev hunt down Illidan, at the prize of her soul. Maev, Desperate and broken, accepted the Lich kings offer, in hope of finally be able to not only recapture Illidan, but to rid the world of his being for good. this is the background story for a new aos wich will feature pretty much all races. Illidans alliance will be blood elves and naga Maevs alliance will be some (dark/evil) night elves and undead. note that Maev will not have connections with the burning legion. objective for Maev is to kill Illidan, objective for Illidan is to kill Maev. neither Maev or Illidan will be able to leave their base. the set up will be maevs forces in the notheast, and illidans forces in the southwest. a neutral human settlement in the northwest, and a neutral orc settlement in the southeast. right between the middle and the orc settlement will be a small neutral settlement of trolls, wich can be captured, if captured the settlement will spawn trolls for your army. right between the middle and the human base will be a Druid Camp, wich can be captuered. if captured the camo will spawn bandits for your army. 4 creeping grounds are featured. The human and orc bases can be captured, allthough this will be a lot harder then capturing the troll and Druid camps. Humans will have a mighty paladin to defnd their base, and Orcs will have a mighty blademaster. in each town will be a race specific shop there will be two shops that are identical in both Illidans and Maevs base, and one race-specific shop for each side. --- W00T GAMEPLAY UPDATE!! allright, the neutral camps will be ruled by the neutral heros right? to gain control over a neutral village you have to kill the leader of that camp. when you kill the leading hero of a camp, the people living in that camp will accept you as their leader, meaning that you are the new leader of that camp! this means the camp you now control will spawn units for your team, under control of the computer player. now for the real fun part, once you took control of a camp, YOU become that camps leader, meaning that if someone kills you, that plaeyer will gain control over the camp!! mad gameplay... (ever played perfect dark on n64? remember the 'pop a cap' play mode? people who own villages... beware... U"LL GIT PWNED!) --- attatched is a rough setup for a mini map. light green=woods dark green=Maevs army light green with stripes=grass yellow=rocks/obstacles yellow stripes=beach blue=deep water blue stripes=shallow water brown= Illidans Forces black=neutral (hostile =P) |

Not nessiarily... Arthas would consider him a valueable tool, and keep him alive, or make him rise as undead. Prehaps he then sent illdan away so he could make the deal with Maive, that way he would curropt both of them either way! |

what a wuss should of just commited suicide like in his death animation that would be more suitable than running |

He didn't run. Arthas attacked, left the gaping wound. Even in the cinematic, it shows him moving around while Arthas goes in. He just woke up and Arthas was gone. I have no doubt that he'd still very much like to fight him again. But I really don't think Arthas (especially weakened like that) could take Illidan after he consumed the skull of Guldan. |
