I'm even sure if i should do the map before the intro is done, i want to see how guy finishs it.

ok, i use oinkerwinkle's vertex modify and it works fine for me, but if you dont, there are hundreds of converter programs out there. What do you use?

my mdling program is Wings, and I can't find any other good mdlin programs that I can use easily. and it only imports .wings files.

I need an assignment... i dont want to make a skin unless i know its being used...

hmmmm.... i think i might need...some really tough-looking trolls. warpaint, magic glyphs on the skin, some scars and maybe a few scabs. Would be used as Forest Troll veterans of the Second War, so it should be Forest Trolls.
Dragonbane, i've never heard of that program but i'm sure there are converters out there somewhere. google '.wings converter' or something like that and you should find a few files.

what model should it be on? the regular troll axethrower model? or maybe a troll head geomerged onto a grunt or beastmaster? any specifics?

Aardvark, could you look into wc3sear.ch.net and find the Forest troll Barbarian model? I'm currently using him as the main character for the introduction. If you can make the Dark Troll skin I used to replace the FT one more like a war leader with as gooky said, war paint and stuff, that'd be great!

Hey hey hey! I was looking through wc3sear.ch for things to use in my new RPG I'm starting, but will never finish. I've started at least 10 different projects, only to get bored with them, and them I get frusterated and quit them. My new RPG is less ambitious, and therefore has a higher chance of succeeding. Anyway, after looking for models for myself, I found this Troll Peon its like a troll worker unit. It is perfect for our campaign! So download it, and then get permission to use it from the author. Wow! What a find eh?

Thats a damn shame losing interest in projects that quickly, FLUFF. Perhaps you are setting you expectations WAAAY to high for some of your projects.... How about the latest one? What is it about?

And about the Troll Peon... Man, simply type TROLL in the search engine at the models section will reveal 2 pages worth of Troll units! The Lizard Riders are my favorites. And the Forest Troll Barbarian.

yeah, i saw that. I dled the map with it but it was protected so i couldnt get that model.
I also found that troll peon model... now it needs Dark Troll-itization.
aardvark, try on a normal axethrower (or berserker, depending how you look at it).
on the number of trolls in the model section: i know. two of them (villager and troll at arms) are mine.
