Troll Campaign: Battle for Felwood (temp. name)

Yo, mon. The Dark Trolls be needen help. Da Nite Elves be wipin out our race, mon.
After the second defeat of the Burning Legion at mount Hyjal, the Night Elves had more time on their hands. They decided to rid Ashenvale and Felwood of the Dark Trolls, who had been living on those lands for centuries. The Dark Trolls suffered many losses before word got out to the other Troll subspecies. From the cold land of Northrend the Ice Trolls came, with their allies from their homeland. From islands and rainforests came the Jungle Trolls, providing Giant Bats for sentries and Hydras for war-beasts. From across the sea and through the Maelstrom came the Forest Trolls of Azeroth, with golems and Ogres to aid the war. Now, as has happened few times before, the Great Warband has risen again, determined to drive the Night Elves off of the Dark Trolls' ancestral lands....

all the jobs a campaign needs....i can only do story lines and a bit of modelling, triggering, and object editting (mostly the latter)... and acknowledge it.
so...sound effects would be nice, maybe a few modellers that can actually animate instead of using only Oink's tools , which as far as I know cant animate... maybe some skinners... terrainers would be helpful... but i think a small team works fine.

Update: Hydra Ward is finished, except that it needs a camera/portrait.

well i can do mission outlines: example u tell me what u want accomplished in ur story and i divide it into unquie non borning missions:

the ice trolls can not sruvie in the moderately based temepters in Felwood. You must use your troll shamens to harness the remaining energies of the Skull of Gul'dan and freeze the northern part of Ashenvale.

Then i would do a quest outline

and the forest troll leader is Jin'zakk if u care

The Night Elves shall wipe out the pitiful trolls with ease ^^

I'd be interested in beta testing when the time comes around.

Two things:
Plotline addition-
As the gathered Troll Great Warband prepares to attack, they realize that they have almost no organized battle experience, while the Night Elf Sentinels have millennia of it. In order to balance things out, the Trolls have to find a powerful magic item (dunno wht it'll be...probably a tiki mask) that landed in the heart of Felwood when Kalimdor shattered at the end of the Sunderring of the World. So, after that plotline is uncovered, the player will switch off playing as the main Troll forces and as the Expidition trying to find the item. The Expedition will probably be headed by one of Blizzard's charachters (Rokhan or Vol'jin).
Modelling Progress-
Hydra Ward is finished! ^_^

oh, and KingTofu... i think that the story will end with a truce, the wise Druids of the Talon ending up convincing the warlike Druids of the Claw that the Night Elves are fighting a pointless war... probably the Jungle Trolls will agree to bring the Dark Trolls out of corruption. considering a few NE missions...

Garona- Thanks for the information on the Forest Troll leader. I already thought about the Ice Troll problem, but the solution just came to me. They'll also need to get the magic item before the Ice Trolls suffer too many losses and go home, leaving the Warband hopelessly outmatched

Heres the Hydra Ward, the new magic ward that the Witch Doctors just pulled out of their cauldrons (of human flesh...yummy...(gargles)). (Out of his cauldron is the Troll equivalent of out of thin air or out of his hat) If you use it in your maps, give credit! I'll probably post a final version in the DL section. It'll probably be blue or green. hang on this'll take a minute... some kind of error attaching... darn ive been trying to make it work so long... maybe i wait till tommorrow.

Bartuc the 1st thought about doing a Troll campaign too but apparently it was put into a hiatus... Perhaps you can contact him through PM to see if he would wanna cooperate with ya!

BTW, I'd be glad to "help" improve any terrain you manage to make. I can't work full-time (meaning make terrain from scratch) but I can help make the map look a little more professional. Call me a "Terrain Consultant" or something

Well.... try a Dark Troll Shadow Hunter? I can't skin, so i would appreciate it. Shadow Hunters hold high positions in any Troll society, and i don't think Dark Trolls are an exception. Hmmm....hair should be black with team color topknot...

Well....I had ago at one but it sucked. So...i made a skin for EvilWartDragons Troll Barbarian that looks pretty nice on it. Hope u like :god_help_us: (you will need evilwart dragons model before trying! )

I'd help, just ask what you could want me to do. I can terrain, trigger, and do cinematics. I could make a sweet intro.
