Now that the Diablo II 1.10 patch is available on Battle.net, the next Warcraft III update, patch 1.13, has gone into the final stages of testing. We expect it to be released in the next few weeks. Prior to the patch's release, we will also be changing the lineup of maps currently available for ladder play.

Whenever i want to start a new map on it says you need to get this file installed "MSSTDFMT.DLL" and gives me an error

Also how do you uninatall the WE Unlimited??

Do a google search for that file and get and register it.
Uninstalling works the same way as for any other application (use the uninstaller)

Okay, I thought I'll post a screenie of how the edit map dialog will basicly look like.

Here you see the main screen where you can change the basic settings, add new tiles to your map, change the main tileset, decide whether to use advanced triggers and other options.

The imported files part is basicly a import manager as we know it of the original WE but it supports multiselction. So you can add multilple files to your map with one click, change the path for multiple files and of course the 46 file maximum is removed here.

In the import / export section you'll be able to import/export unit, upgrade, ability, item, doodad and other object settings, import/export triggers and terrain ...

I'll however take care that you will not be able to open maps protected with the most important map protectors (HeavyLocker, ExtProtext, Map Utilities)

You can also see that it will now be possible to use advanced triggers for multiplayer maps.:D

That has a nice layout, and the multi-import will be absolutely brilliant. One thing for your next version:

On the hero-save code triggers, it only allows 2 digits for each attribute. I modified this for my maps, (by changing your custom files), but it might annoy people that they can't have huge heros saved. Just a thought, but not that important (to me anyway).

Hi when i try to use a advanced trigger an error comes up looking like this

did i install wrong or put sumthing in wrong path?? i have all the stuff checked in settings dunno wuts wrong

God damnit im so freakin pissed, ive uninstalled the damn thing and when ever i go to my editor there isnt no terrain but only all black, before i downloaded this there were all just ground terrian! please HElp!!

Either load a map or create a new one to have the black screen go away.
It's just that I told the editor to not create a new map on startup to speed up starting the editor. You can change that back in the preferences tab of your WE.

Oh, and why are you pissed again?


Mikason: I have explained several times in this thread that you need blizzard.j in your map for these advanced triggers


35263526: I already changed the hero save thing so you can modify it by setting some booleans (whether you wanna save current position, items, ability levels, mana, life and so on or not). And the player name will also matter when saving and restoring heros this time.

Do you have an ETA on the update now that 1.13 is out?

Seems how I installed 1.13 patch so now my map is useless.. Can't really update it...

I want to use the new stuff with the 1.13 patch, but to do that I would have to delete most of my triggers, or convert them to custom text so that the new version of WE can open them...

EDIT: I thought this was rather amusing... but your editor is already partially comaptible with the new version, when I open your editor and go to the Object Editor, I noticed the BUFF art tab SHOWED UP, granite it didn't display properly, but it displayed enough to be able to understand and use it... but will it save into the map properly....
