Master Contest Discussion

I agree the MC doesnt get as much participation and enthusiasm as in the concept art gallery. Heck! no1 even bothers to check in it. It worked previously but now it kinda stinks. Maybe your focus should be to get more people to model the entries and more to skin them.

Well, with no offense intended to the other forums, are the other mods doing their part to encourage the contest?

ok theres talk of moving the master contest to ganons realm where it will probably work better. this thing will most likely just be your regular art contest and will dwindle into the an artist battle type thread.

As always just take anything Mav says with a grain of salt. Unless I or Rod says it's happening then you can be sure that it's not.

My priority in the first 2 weeks of being here has been to get the gallery going with a better format. This will be a reality by the end of next week. The beta is going well.

My next major issue will be this and any contests. I already have some ideas on how to reward and infuse the community but am still looking at and taking helpful suggestions. Saying it wont happen or talking about any past failures doesnt help the community. Please give suggestions dont just harp and complain.

I may draw a pandaren lightmaster...then a panda very enlightned...but the theme is denizens of the dark forest...I asked me... Is my panda appropriate? :(

I'd expect Trolls rather than Ogres in this season... You know, forest trolls...
