spectaculair... medusas ulti looks veeeeerry cool... it fits her so well and looks soooo goddamn sweet.. good job... the sacrifuce has some brillant arts as well... only they look a bit too druidic.. ^^~! this guy is verry veryy evil who pains hos own men to better himself blablabla... so it should look totally menacing and ebil. and, ofcourse, it should only be possible to target the spell at allied units... no enemy units and certainly NOT at heros ^^~! haha... its all good... cant wait to see what you make off anubis.. or what phenix makes of anubis.. whos making him?? if its ohenix... whan ur done post the map, so kamux can put it in his map, so he can put it in our map... :D sweeeeet stuff. |

i've completed 2 skills for Anubis, the Summon Mummy (Complete with custom Mummy Model from AlfredX and Skin from TToR) and Ancient Curse, i played around with names and turned Summon Mummy into a raise dead like ability (Embalms the corpse, turning it into a mummy) and called it Ancient Curse, i name changed Ancient Curse into Blood of Corruption (Makes Blood of Corruption run through all his summons, adding an armor decreasment to each attack and certain special effects) the explosion of the Mummies works perfectly and flawlessly as far as i can see, i'm implementing the Rune of Anubis now, should have him finished in a day or two, I can change all the stuff back if you wish, but i saved a few triggers by doing this and it sounds cooler i reckon, its no trouble to follow what you wanted to the letter. |

eehm... well, phenix, i am not so sure about custom models... its fine as long as the file doesnt get too big... i mean, flashy stuff is very cool and all, but it should still be b.net downloadable and lagless play... POST A TEST MAP.. i wanna see ^^~! |

ok, i'll take out the custom models for the summon mummy, i'll just finish bugfixing Blood of Corruption, i'm gonna have to make Mark of Anubis as well cause its effected by BoC, but its a very simple spell that i can make in about 2 minutes, so thats it, i've juts got up (timezone diff's) so i'll finish off his ultimate sometime today. |

its official, i'm a f*cking idiot, i spent about an hour trying to work out why Blood of Corruption wasnt working correctly only to discovered i'd forgotten to set it so it worked on every level, instead of only level 1 O_o (In simpler terms, i had the trigger set so BoC only worked on level 1, i was really confused cause the triggers looked fine, i spent an hour trying to work out why they wernt working (i always researched it to level 4 for testing) before realising my mistake) |

ok, here we go, i've been unable to find any bugs (tho i noticed a little bit of lag buildup when i spammed Anubis's Ultimate about 500 times..) But since i doubt his ultimate is gonna get spammed that often, it should be fine. |

right, i tested, and did come up with some problems... u did? yes... blood of corruption seems fine, no problemo. the mummies, the arts for them are sweet, looks cool. one problem, when the zombies die they dont use their death effect. they should instantly use it when they die, also if you dont use the actual ability. plus the damage is waaaaay too high. his ultimate is... er wrong, i dont think u understand well what it should do. it should be very powerfull, yes, but it should loose life every second, unless it can consume a corpse... the corpse consuming should not be a skill, it should be trigerred and theres nothjing you can do to influence it. i'd say loose about 50 life a second, unless it can consume a corpse. good job, nontheless.... and oh yeah, he will be intelligence and have a lich skin :S |

i just grabbed a random model for Anubis. Ultimate losing 50 HP a second is completly screwed up, (you didnt exactly give me a very detailed description of it either, i seem to remember something along the lines of "Teh Ultimate Uber Corpse Monster that needs a new name" anyway he would be totally useless in combat, and i mean totally, even if he could consume a corpse, that would require 1 enemy to die every second for him to be any use, which is completly rediculos. Also i dont think having it consume a corpse is even possible without JASS, as i dont know of any way in GUI to detect if there are any corpses near a unit, although i suppose i could do some kind of raise dead system... Hmm, i dunno if it'd work or not. Damage is random, i just set it to a number that sounded interesting, do take note that its in a small area and fighting level 3 ranged creeps with low HP. Zombies dont use their death effect when they die? They should... I'll have to take a look at that... No wait, that was the rune of Anubis, never mind. So you want the Zombies to do their damage when their killed as well? I thought it would just be like the sappers, i'll fix that. Just to note, the way i have the Ultimate set up is follows: If a unit dies within 700 range of the Blood Reaver, it is healed by 18HP (Drains 1 HP a second, i should probably make it a little more than that, i'd put it at 3 - 4, so it would be fine in combat, even gaining a little healing bonus, but outside of combat would weaken quickly) since this was an AoS i figured that there wouldnt be perpetual dieing to keep this thing alive for more than a minute or two i gave it a variation of Life Drain that only affects player units, so you can Drain Anubis's health or the health of his Mummies to give the Blood Reaver more life time, i can remove the drain ability if you want. |

yeb, the drain needs to go... the thing with his ultimate is, that it'll be a rediculously powerfull unit, with about... 3000 hp to start with? and just decays 50 a second... unless it can consume a corpse... you might be able tob get that working by having a dummy caster that uses a resurrect dead ability autocasted qith a one second cooldown, everytime that ability is casted you give the reaverguy +50 hp... doesnt sound that complicated to me. and this guy isnt supposed to live long... he'll just be around for a little while, becouse of his awsum destructive force... but remember that he can always get healed etc etc... we really want him to work the way we thought of phenix... otherwise, he would be diffrent. and i explained every char and skill with great detail in this thread, just scroll back a little further, the lists posted are just little reminders. and mark of anubis will be an ank, actually... mark, anubis, egypt.. it fits him better. i'm really sory to say it... but dont argue this much, it are our heros, we thought of the skills we know the balance... if we say we want it a certain way it has to be that way or if it is absolutely ompossible to make, we can adjust the spell a little bit so it works. but i dont believe anything we've asked is impossible... even the WoT/sleep combe who thought to be impossible, worked in the end!! |

i know, i think i can get the Corpse Eating working, from your description of the hero i thought you meant that if there wasnt a corpse around he would lose health, and since i dont think thats possible i kinda improvised. Sorry about the argueing, just ignore it, i tend to go a little overboard every now and then. --EDIT-- Did some testing, with 3000 HP and 50 drain a second he dies in 60 seconds without outside interferance, when he gets into combat with anything more than a few trolls he lasts less than 30 seconds, if he gets into combat with another level 14 hero, hes dead in less than 10. Prehaps a drain of 25 HP a second would be better? |
