Well, unfortunately, everyone (maybe even my cat) is better with triggers then I am, but as for the book, I think it's either .mdl, either photoshop.

well, I edited the model to give Thomas the book! It was a really pain in the *** to do, but I think it looks cool :D

J/k! I took a screenshot of Thomas and one of the Paladin, and then just copied the book to Thomas using Photoshop :)

About your trigger: It should work, you're sure you don't have any other triggers that do something with those units?
Try to put this action in the beginning of your cin:
'AI - Ignore alll guard positions for <Player name>'
