This site better not die, Its the most usful site on the web! I have hoped sence four years before we were blessed with the great game that it would live on like halflife only better, (I personaly hoped it would be the game that toppled halflife from its throne, and still do) but dont good mods take a long time, maby I'm just a "nOOB" but I think some people need to learn how to wait! (maby this is just something sloths are good at:ggani: )

I dont want the site to die, but i think just adding more special stuff like animation and art will slow down all the uploads for us 56k users. The internet seems so slow when you've tasted cable but forced to be on the 56k wagon. Im sure there are people just like me that like all the flashy stuff, but our connection cant handle it.:thrust:

Wa3 just isn't living up to my expections, really. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but I just don't like some aspects. The biggest problem for me was the incredibly boring, linear, and predictable the single play was. Ohh, pritty boy Arthas, hero to his homeland *gasp* falls to a state of evil! Oh my! He killed his father... I didn't see THAT one coming! Oooohh, some undead action coming up now, I'm in for a good time right? Wrong. The undead levels were a mass of poor map design and no fun, which is a BAD combination. Next we have orc, my favourite race. I don't want no sissy *** human lover warchief to lead to orcs back to their 'natural path' of 'shamanism' or some crap. The orcs are out to rock some ***, have some fun, pillage and rape and have some fun! Darn it, here comes Thrall, "Stop attacking that human villiage Grom, or I'll tell your mommy" and "Alright Jaina, let's fight the scourge TOGETHER!" The orcs I grew up with would rip those petty humans apart and eat their internal organs, and THEN go to work on them! Next we have Night Elf... hmm... new race, could be good. It was ok. There were a few challenging maps which made you use shadowmeld, a totally useless ability, and it screws up the portraits. The last mission was good. It was actually a little hard... on hard.... I guess.... But you didn't buy Starcraft for the single player did you? No! Me niether, and the same is for warcraft. I bought the damn thing for multiplayer. I log onto trusty Bnet, and find to my dismay that EVERY SINGLE MAP THAT IS HOSTED ON THE FRICKIN' INTERNET IS A HERO ARENA MAP. I'm not saying that these hero arena maps are all bad, wait, yes I am! I hate those things with a passion. They are almost as bad an insult as the stoooooopid madness maps from starcraft (though at least in sc you could see lots of guts flying everywhere). So I think, ok, how about melee? Well, here is where warcraft really shines. I played a few ladder games, then I got bored. Then I got REALLY BORED. SO i went on the internet and joined this site. Hrm, some interesting stuff going down, I think I'll download this mod here, and that one... ok how about this one! RoK sucked (though I REALLY like how bloodthursty those orc were, YEAH!!!!!) but there were too many problems for it to be considered great. FPS MOD, sounded really stupid at first, I tryed it, and thought it was the coolest thing on the planet. Then I played Unreal Tourney 2003, and decided FPS Mod was a waste of time (for the creators). THEN! DMMOD. Now THIS is a mod to be proud of! A veteran of the pen-and-paper series and vertually every video game made using the rules, I download this mod expecting to see great things. What I see is an impossible layout and impossible controls.

Okay, my arms are getting tired, and I forget what this thread was about, indeed, all that I did was ramble, pretty much.

So the point is that the mods made on this site, for the most part, suck, but the official campaign I payed 70$ for was a piece of monkey crap. Come on moderators, delete this thread. I dare you.

HOWEVER. The thing I like most about modding and whatnot is that you don't GIVE a shit who likes it or not. Skinning and modelling and scripting and mapping are what you guys live for. It's art guys, don't give this shit up. You 'noobs' are all that this site has left!

I have the same problem with warcraft that I did with starcraft. I don't really like the game, but I still play it. I can't wait to hear the sound of those ne bows a twangin' and those footman swords a swingin'. I HATE that I can't stop. It's ADDICTIVE! I WANT TO LEAVE! HELP ME! NOOOOOOO!

Ok. MOST OF THE DOWNLOAD SECTION LINKS ARE BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz read the comments people are puting up. Plz Keep up the download section. Its the only bad this about this site(I think)

Ok, Heres my List of Suggestions

First, we need some more styles, I'd suggest FT, Neaturl, and undead, but maybe a SC one and Diablo ones if were bored.

Also, I believe we could use a flash intro, Just a thought, but we could, Also, You might want to get rid of some of the projects, Since some people have some nice projects that are more deserving than some that do have forums (Im not gonna name any names)

I think some forums could use more Moderators, I aslo think a Spell editing subsection to map develpoment would be nice.

The download section could be fixed, But it dosen't need to be yet.

Release FoK, I think people are leaving simply because it hasen't been released.

Lastly, I think we need more news updates, And possibly focus on games besides warcraft, Just a suggestion, But A good number of people are sick of warcraft

Also, We could bring back that magazine, I personally enjoyed it while it lasted, i wouldn't mind it coming back.

I Think The Downloads Section Could Possibly Have More To Download.
