well the thing was when you convert for the first time the application puts 2 lines at the start of the mdl saying when it was converted blah blah .... well delete them first 2 lines then save it then try converting it and it should work then

Ok.
I searched in Downloads section with keyword "YobGuls" and returned nothing.
I downloaded many of them in the downloads section and again nothing.

There are 2 links in the first page.
The first one leads to:
Warning: Failed opening 'modules/Downloads/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/wc3c/www/modules.php on line 24

The second one downloads a 0 KB war3fileconverter.zip.

What should I do?

Doesnt work at all. I just open it and it says i have a dynamic link library error, even after i re-installed it without the patch. Do you think that you could add all the needed files to the zip? Thanks, i am working on importing mdl files from qfg5. this converter is crucial.:bangH: :bangH:

I am guessing that this program does not run on windows XP. I have windows XP and I get that same "ordinal 697 could not be located in the dynamic link library War3.exe." error.

For all of you that got the same error message I got, get the 1st version of the game.dll from war3.mpq. Works good for me now.

3 easy steps to getting the thing to work perfectly:
  • Unzip everything you downloaded to its own directory
  • Decompress the Storm.dll, ijl15.dll, and Game.dll from war3.mpq to your system directory(Ex. C:\WINDOWS\system, C:\WINNT\system)
  • Copy Mss32.dll from your warcraft III directory(Ex. C:\Program Files\Warcraft III) to your system directory

Start it up and it should work.
If you are running XP try changing the run in mode:
  • right click on the application
  • select properties
  • go to the last tab
  • select an operating system from the drop down list(windows 2000 works)
  • folow the three easy steps listed above

However i havent tried this and it might not work. XP users might just be skrewed

For those of you who dont know what an mpq is you shouldnt be downloading this, But you can get winmpq here

For thos of you who cant find the application, download it here

This should clear up most of the confusion, And no im not an alias fo Yubgul(lol). :lch:

Good Luck :infth:

Okay... great tip as it doesnt require you to uninstall Warcraft 3 and reinstall it. Also (Im running Win98) I had to copy the Mss32.dll to the directory I unzipped the file to for it to load.

? Its not in the tools section... I had to download it from infoceptor

One of the main reasons i said put it into the system directory is so all other programs can use it.

Also i know its not in the tools section, because the site is screwed up but the link i provided should get u to a page where u can download it :lch:
