This version might fix problems people are having with loading. It also fixes a problem with MDL->MDX conversion. [If you're having trouble setting up the program, I have a tutorial on my site that explains it: http://www.hostultra.com/~MasterSlow...p.html#yobguls -MasterSlowPoke] [Edit by Starcraftfreak] Download the tool HERE. This is the link to the installer I created, that extracts the needed DLLS on it's own. [/edit] |

Guest | is there an mdl plugin for max that will be able to import the converted models ? If not for Max then what 3d program does support this type of mdl format? Also is this the same mdl format as the halflife models? I just want to know if theres anyway I can put a custom model in game using your custom converter. |

This mearly converts it to Ascii which is readable and makes removing things like the heros glow alot easier. |

Guest | well what I'm saying is that halflife models use the mdl format - you have to export them as Ascii then convert them to mdl. Has anyone tried using the converter to put a custom model in game? (even if it is static) I cant get the damn file converter to work. |

chances are, its not the same format as half file. kingpin uses mdx... completely different format. |

DOH!!!! U must have the WC3 v1.00 of Game.dll , Storm.dll , Ijl15.dll and Mss32.dll . Then u must use the provided war3.exe from the archive and it's not necessarily to have the program in the war3 dir. Create a dir with the following files: War3FileConverter.exe } War3.exe } THE PROVIDED ONES Game.dll } Storm.dll } THE Warcraft III v1.00 ones not other version files!! Ijl15.dll } Mss32.dll } |
