Ok, here my little review for Part 5. Terrain 10/10 Pros- Flawless terrain, everything looked perfect and beautiful. The best part was the ruins of (eh forgot the name). The skins were excellent and really helped set the mood. Doodad placement showed great ingenuity and creativity. Cons- none. Cameras 9/10 Pros- The angles were well picked. The flight of the gargoyles demonstrated excellent camera work. Another plus, no clipping and technical mistakes. Cons- some of the angles were poor. During the conversation between Artania and Eloas, there were too few cameras. Story/Dialogue 9/10 Pros- The story is greatly improved from the first parts. It was good how you drew out the character of Artania a bit more. The dialogue was excellent and again much improved. Cons- The troll slipped in and out of 2nd person speech. The story was still weak. Visual Effects 10/10 Pros- Perfect. The battle of the ghosts is unmatched and the use of fade filters was superb. The models and skins added a the depth and feeling of the cinematic. Cons- none Music/Sound 8/10 Pros- Well selected music in Scene 2. Maglok did a very good job with the finale music. Sounds added greatly to the mood, especially in Fenron's Library. Cons- Often in the first scene, the sounds presented a barrier between me and the cinematic. Sometimes sound effects were too prominent while other times it was absent. Overall 92/10 Excellent end to the best cinematic series. CotN should deffinately be treasured a classic and its finale as a work of art. Overall, good job DK. :D -Zurg |

Overall Rating: 1/200... for the download. Overall rating on the Actual movie: 200/200!!! AWESOME! I suppose the download couldnt be helped. One less thing in the movie wouldnt be worth a stupid filesize reduction. Anyway, this is great. A perfect simulation... ... of how people with broadband can briefly return to the ol' dial-up world. I swear, I felt like I was running an ant-powered modem when I downloaded this. Dial-Up: Sleep on it. You're in for an overnight download (as long as you arent doing anything important the next day... the tension will probably keep you up). You know... you could use this as electronic coffee. Its virtually impossible to fall asleep if this is blazing on your computer screen. Gotta go... ... watch this again. When I return to sanity, I might be able to utter a few words like... creatures... and night... in my posts. |

Time for my review8)) Terraining: 19.5/20 Terrain was very close to perfection. just the unit were having their feet IN the tree in the first scene. The best part is the sand and the sand city. I just cant understand what trool were doing there but anyway. Camera: 18/20 Nice use of fade screen. The second part had perfect camera timing. Some of the first part werent as good. Special Effect: 19.5/20 This is owning. You didnt only use a sfx for a situation, you used more than 10. Really good. I just dont like the way you made some(like when artania move the rolling stone door), its just to symetric. Sound: 19/20 Very good. The only problem is some music were damn loud. I was watching the movie with a high sound(like i do for all movie) and I got an heart attack when the music changed. Story: 17/20 It was good except all seem to goes too fast(the forest part). I was sure there was a link between those 2, classic story. The main problem with the story is its right in the middle of the storyline(like starwars episode 2 or 5). It's just soo sad it will probably never get an end.:( Overall: 93/100 |

MECH-SHEEP REVIEW The new cinematic, COTN 5, was just released today. I am going to review it in 5 catagories: Terrain, Art (skinning, models, etc.), Story, Music, Camera TERRAIN 19/20 It was absolutely beautiful, but nothing's perfect, so it won't be 20, would it 0_o The trees were just beautiful with the scrubs, and the rocks were in the right place (Yesss.... rocks... my precious...). The only thing I don't like it having limited water scenes. I mean, water makes everything nice on the back :ggani: ART 18/20 Basically, the skins are "cooked (lack of vocabulary, mind you)" to perfection, and heck, no one does it better. The only flaw is that the boulder was ugly. It coulda been better skinned and been more natural (not like a huge ball) STORY 20/20 The story was deep, especially the first part, and it was so easy to understand. Perfect film for the family (excluding the bloody parts) MUSIC 20/20 I can't find any flaws in the music. It was right-on-beat with the actual scene, and heck, it wasn't 1 nanosecond away. Perfect musical use. CAMERA 17/20 I could of prefered a better position on some scenes, and some scenes needed a better view. However, the first part was what I like the most. Camera behind trees, close-ups, beautiful! OVERALL 94/100 This is just the film for everyone! If you have TFT, download it or feel the wrath of: a) Sheep hordes b) Testicle frying :ggani: Therefore, this is: ![]() |

I won't do a massive review (too many of them already) but I think you know what I'm gonna say. It was good. It was very good. I watched it and forgot it was a computer game, just thought it was some wierd style of animation (though the fact that I was watching the Animatrix beforehand might explain that!) and that's hard to do, that is suspending audience belief to the extreme! If I had to pick a favourite thing, it would be the fade filters. I love the way you set the tone for the cinematic by changing the light colour, especially when they were leaving the woods. A good note to go out on DK :D |

god damnit DK, next time you make a cin dont make the music so loud, i was playing this on my huge Sub-Woofer speaker set i just got and i nearly blew out my eardrums in a few places O_o Anyway, 100/100, almost perfect, but so close it dosnt really matter |
