post count still goes, on the orc theme i still see post count so i switched to Night elf them e and i saw points so you need to change it for Orc i dunno b\out other themes either.
I think this is a good idea but the give another user custom title could go very wrong... i dont think your controls should be accessable by anyone else... oh and now that i think about it i can still change all my info... live avatar and all.

i say dont let other people change the titles, or remove points, because you will just get people that are assholes and want to send everyone down..

oh yes, and orc theme still shows up posts, i know Twistar said it doesn't show up it[the post right above this one], plz fix it, i dont want to go to NE, orc are my fav race..lol

is the point counter thing removed from skinning forum like the post counter was !?!?

exactly what im thinking but im not to worried about neone removing points because the only people with this ability are mods and admins and even though some may be mean sometimes or un-helpful (i havent encountered one yet but ive heard) ive never seen a rule-breaking admin... or someone that would just come out and take away 100 post.. that would be insane 0_o

For instance if you write a tutorial(good) how many points would you get?

I agree with everything, except for changing another user's custom title, and changing your username. Creating a custom title for another user can easily be abused, and unless there's something to prevent it, it WILL be abused. Also, changing your name can easily be used to impersonate other posters or create offensive names as well.

Other than that, I think the point system is a great addition to the site.

no, if you hadn't noticed, views in topics you post give points, so you could post once and have alot of points..i mean alot, if it attracts peoples attention, lots of points, if its shot out in the dust, no points :P

You should seriously give super mods the power to undo some of these things. I know that we are gonna see **** loads of people trying to abuse this. With the current system you all just seem to be widening the gap between everyone. I think postcount was better than earning points, really.

so its only implemented in rating now right...

I think I wil have to agree about the "Changing name thing sux" idea, only because it adds to the kind of abuse that could go on (to repeat what they said multiple times...).

As for earning points, it emphasizes helping people out more, which I think is great.
I also don't see any "points" on the human screen, but I'll change to NE so I can hopefully make my mom proud... Out earning hard money.... :bgrun:

Anyways, if you were to give an option to change the color, glow, and everything EXCEPT the text, it might be a little better? Little check boxes for random *effects* to add woulf be appreciated.

I would be pretty pissed if someone went as HarlequinKnight, using my avatar, my name, etc... Obviously it would get cleared up sooner or later, but the hassle isn't worth it.
