Thank you. The 15 item inventory system is somewhat complex. It is based off the system made by TNT but modified to accomodate 5 more players and to keep the passive abilities when something is in the additional 10 slots. This is done by way of a permanent item in the inventory. When you click this item a dialog will pop up and ask if you want to store or retrieve an item. Storing an item will put it into a region(if there is space), set it as a variable, check if there is any more space in the extra 10 slots, and give the hero any passive abilities that that item gave it (+3 strength for example). Retrieving an item will check if you have enough space in your regular inventory, remove the passive abilities that item gave the hero (cause now the item will give the passive ability instead), and put the item into the regular inventory (if there is space). TNT's original system was only for 1 player and did not have the passive abilities for the stored items. I give him full credit for the rest of the 15 item inventory system. |

Can this be moved to the maps in development forum? The guy overlooking the town is one of the merchants. That one happens to be the one that sells you weapons (swords and glaives and stuff). Since I am done with all the heroes I'll name them all here: Dragoon (Human) Shadow Knight (Elf) Dragon Warrior (Elf) Monk (Pandaren) Paladin (Human) Zealot (Pandaren) Praetor (Light Elf) Assassin (Elf) Thane (Dwarf) Crusader (Eastern Orc) Ninja (Human) Barbarian (Half Orc) Sniper (Dwarf) Valkyrie (Elf) Samurai (Pandaren) Centurion (Human) Note: Elves in this world are like night elves in warcraft. Light Elves are like high elves. Doom Elves are like blood elves. Eastern Orcs are green and on the good side while Orcs are red and on Malginar's side. |

Looks cool! I do hope you'll rename the creeps and give them their own abilities as well? |

quests..... make it like 3-5 hours main quest if you can, that would be REALLY cool, and like 12-24 side quests ranging from like a 5 minute job to like a 30 min hunt through a cave.... anyway thats how most of the games ive like play out :P |

Awesome! I've seen a few RPG maps that were really well made, only the standard creeps and their predictable actions/skills made it... less genuine. |

Ive been busy with some other things but I did manage to make some more terrain. Here is a shot of one of the new places. It was once the center of trade in this region but after the war started, its inhabitants were driven out or killed. Since then, a group of Drow Elves have taken up residence there. The forest is also haunted with fel treants twisted by demonic magic. I also have another design question: Creeps respawning or no? If yes, how long should the spawn time be. I've been testing it with a 30 second respawn time and it seems fine but sometimes its hard to advance forward until you have leveled more. In knights of the old republic, there are a few places where the enemies will respawn if you leave an area then come back to it. These are few and far between though. |

Screenshot of Darkmoore Keep. One of Malginar's bases. It is most likely that you will have to kill everyone in this base. |

I had this covert ops hero that was a gnome with trigger/jass spells but... he was a little too good so he isn't in use right now. His spells were the call downs from starcraft ghost: Arclite Seige Tank Barrage - Bunch of tanks somewhere on the map open fire on random points in a region and basically kill everything there. Each level would increase the amount of time they would unleash hell. Damage was dealt to anything in that area (allies, you, enemies, debris, trees, everything) Yamato Cannon - Called in a battle cruiser to decimate a target and some splash damage. Point, shoot, target gone. Irradiate - Science Vessel came and diseased a unit and caused units around it to also become diseased losing health. This was done with disease cloud. EMP Shockwave - Reduced mana in an area to zero and dealt damage to summoned units. Basically screwed over every boss since they all have powerful spells. Cloak - Made the ghost invisible. Stayed invisible while attacking. Mana decreased over time. You could walk around and shoot just about anything. The boss area has detectors though. Nuclear Strike (Level 10 ultimate) - Kills everything in a very large area... and looks cool. Owned the first few bosses when used with other spells. This hero was a one man army. He could beat anything and everything. I could have just nerfed his spells but then he wouldn't be as cool... expect his return somewhere. |

Okay, 2 more shots before I advance the main plot another 10-20% today... This is Bloodmire Swamp. 2 opposing bases are on each side of the swamp... one from the Order (second shot) one from Malginar's forces (shot before this one). Note the color of the waterfalls... red... blood red... 10000 years of fighting will do that to a land. I still want a few opinions on that spawn/no spawn question. |

Oh yeah, disregard the purple and black cubes. These shots are taken in the editor as I do not want to wait 3 minutes for it to save each time I want to make some more screenshots. |

Just thought I'd post a map for your viewing pleasure... and so you can all get an idea of what this land looks like... and to see where I am terrain-wise. MAP KEY: Red Outlines - Areas that will be redone. Red Words/Pictures - Places that will be redone. Yellow Words - Places that are done. Current doodad count: 8512 |
