very original ^^b make like an announcement when that type of event occurs "Player1 is now chieftain of the troll village!" "Player2 is now leader of the bandit camp!" "player3 is now warlord of the orc encampement!" "player4 is now king of the human base!" maybe u can include gateways... like when u gain controll of the village the waypoint is yours so u can jump to it from ur base... ill actually play wc3 for this... |
| 02-01-2004, 09:14 PM | #19 |
those announcements will be fact, ofcourse. there will be no jumping points. we think that doing so will make the use of teleport skills and items quite useless. in this game you gotta pay for everything eccept ur own skills... and if you own a camp, a crown (inner fire buff) will be shown above your head, so ur an easyer target... hehehe... EDIT: updated first post with the new gameply elements. |

what are you talking about. And the Naga and Blood Elves+Illiadin are on Outland, NOT Kalimdor. Despite all this, this map looks fun:D Quote:

Love the furbolg/druid idea. Gives a lot of new item possibility's :D GAMEPLAY UPDATE: all camps have their own buff: this means if u chek the heroes status, u can see wich camps he controls. y we didn't made it in outland: we hate the red titleset. It seems Illidan went to to beach or somthing.. Maiev took her chances to take him out. y we made she made the pact with the lich king: try to make 9 maiev heroes... (yes the game will feature 9 heroes per race, future versions maybe some more) Speaking of heroes: here is a hero concept to make y'all happy: Hero name: Temptess. Attract: Flatters with a enemy hero, decreasing his attack damage. Mana cost: 100 Level1: Decreases a enemy attack damage with 20% Level2: Decreases a enemy attack damage with 30% Level3: Decreases a enemy attack damage with 40% Level4: Decreases a enemy attack damage with 50% Teleport: teleports to a friendly structure/unit. On to the Items! there will be a total of 8 shops in the game. One weopons merchant, situated in both Maev and Illidans base. One item merchant, situated in both Maev and Illidans base. One shop just for Maev One shop just for Illidan One shop at the human camp One shop at the orc camp One shop at the troll camp One shop at the Nature camp there are basically 3 types of items: -Spell Books, that allow you to cast certain spells -Potions, that have veriouse effects and equipment. you will only be able to carry one spell book. each 'special' shop will have one or two spellbooks and one or two potions for sale. the weapons merchant will sell basic items like -armor (aromor) -weapon (dmg) -attack speed -movement speed. the Illidan and Maev special shops will have a veriaty of diffrent items. the Orc shop will mainly be focussed on dmg and stenth. the Troll shop will mainly be focussed on speed and agility the Nature shop will mainly be focussed on stealth and just handy things. the Human shop will mainly be docussed on armor and intelligence. allthough it is not so that for example the orc shop will only have items that are usefull for strength heros. the orc, troll, nature and human shops will most likely have some mercinaries. |

lol, forgot that i was running a tiny alpha test of CC's spawning triggers.. seems like the Maiev needs a little nerfing.... they demolished whole the base ://// (kel'tuzard is my test heroe thingy, i use him to walk around the map, so are mannoroth and archimond and the two tichondoriuses :bgrun: ) |
