Wow. This is awesome beyond all telling! I finally have Blizzard-quality, Warcraft-like inventory icons and I won't have to resort to Diablo rips! I love the humorous detail Blizzard puts into their work, like the wooden cup of milk with "2%" scrawled hastily on the side. Awesome, awesome stuff. -Bejoty |

Yea, its quite good of blizzard to let thembe released, though in a way the results are only positive towards them (posititive publicity for WoW). |

Looking through these, I've noticed that several are merely recolors of (and one taken directly from) Warcraft III. The ironic part is that most of the recolors are formerly Undead icons and are now being used as holy spells. |

Well, I got bored, converted all of the images to Blps and tossed them into an MPQ. I had to make two MPQs (one for disabled icons, but DoCa-Cola, and one for the originals) because WinMpq wasn't letting me add all of the files. Anyways, here they are. [edit] Well, for some awful reason, none of the BLPs seem to show up in either image viewer or image extractor. I don't know why this is. If anyone figures it out, I would gladly fix it, I guess that I can make new MPQs with TGAs this time... I will try that out a little bit later. |

Yes :) If you saw the horn... simply a recolor and resize of the "Horn of (I FORGOT)" that gave a level one devotion aura to the holder. The two teeth with the firey effect around it was a recolor the the Voidwalker spell that stole positive buffs from the enemy and turned it into health + mana. Mana others were recolors too. But most icons were new, and they rocked. I especially loved the armors and weapons. |

about the mpqs. will they be acsessed directly by the editor or will i still have to convert import and type in a path? |

These icons need alpha channels... Sort of fix: If you use WC3Viewer to convert, you can convert them one-by-one (argh!) into BLPs from TGAs, when you try to convert it will display an "Icon has no alpha channel, add an opaque one?" say yes and then the icon will be fine. But it takes forever.... |

I got my hands on this pack way ahead of Darky, but he actually added the War3 border to them all. I just added it as I needed them. :P |

For all the nuubs who try making blps out of Jpgs... the icons dont work because they need an alpha channel. And yes... Image Extractor II is useless for handling vast amounts of icons. Here are all icons in a mpq with alpha channels and perfectly working http://www.wc3sear.ch/download/WOWPack_Darky27.mpq Greets Darky27 |

Yea post the Disabled ones Darky! You rock ^_^. These are some nice icons, all good and ready to use. Takes me a few to DL a 10 MB file on a dialup but heck it was worth it. Good quality stuff here :) |

Oh, thanks a lot. And I use Image Extractor because the other programs, at least for me, tend to mess the colors of the icons when converting... edit: I didn't know that these came from the leaked alpha (I even didn't know there was a leaked alpha, but since my director, Cubasis40, said It is ok I will keep this thread. |
