"what the hell is wrong w/ it????"

If you are talking here about the anatomy of your model, perhaps these pointers may get you a more realistic model:
elbows are at the hight of where the upper starts to bend. (Right now, Samus' elbows are like a fist higher, giving her too short of upper arms)
The hands end a fist above the knee (you did that right),
and the the lower leg is as tall as the upper leg, but thinner. Right now the lower leg is about 1 1/2 times the upper leg, and they're just as thick. (or thin that is.. for a more exact pointer: for a man have have the hips be as wide as the line between armpits, for a woman extend this line armpit line to more halvway between armpits and shoulder.. depends on how feminine you want your model to look.. in Samus' case have the hips go just beyond armpits width, since she is more of a macho type and wears quite the shoulder pads..)
If you'd fix these things, you will probably think it looks wrong, since you're used to doing it the way you did, but like you said; you're always doing that part wrong (I assume that's what you where talking about).

For sideview: Samus needs back,
and the upper leg gets a lot wider from knee up to ass from sideview.. think of the shape of a raindrop, but then upside down. The whole waist-area must be fuller (she looks like an anorexic person in a spacesuit right now).

Oh, and another mistake you seem to have made, which many people make: you draw a straight line from waist to shoulder. But humans have RIB-CAGES (well you did gave accent to the breast, but they just come out of nowhere.. they should be carried by a rib cage.. and be less pointy). What you do is take little less than the waist-width and depth (which are themselves insuficient right now though), and place those lines halfway between waist and shoulder (about where the ribcage starts. From waist to this ribcage the lines curve inwards (even at the back, only not to much), and from the they curve outwards.. a little like an upside down pear.

A few drawings would perhaps work better here, but I don't have any around to add right now, so you'll have to do with this.

As for animating; I only know about 3dsmax..

well, this is basicly the things I mean.. it just an impression, drawn freehand in paint,
so no comments about it's artistic value please.. (oh, and why do the shoulders appear so much higher in side view?)
anyway, the lines etc speak for themselves I suppose.
(and it's just an estimate to serve as guiding lines)

... (the line where the leg ends is where the leg ends, not the foot.. the foot should come underneath the line.. otherwise she'll end up looking like a midget)

You worked well on some parts... but the main problem i see is you have the shapes wrong... one example is the calfs.. they slant down all the way when then kneecap pad should stand out more.. thats just my opinion it looks O.K. i dont know how it would look in WC3 though.

He means when you import the model, half the body (according to the picture), will be underground. I'm sure we all don't want that :D.

No I mean, if you would alter the model more according to the lines,
it would look more human.
(nothing about bodyparts going underground)
Cause if you'd animate legs as long as the original, it would look like samus on stelts.

getting there.. though the waist is still too small (from side view mostly..), and the legs too tall. ..but definitly starting to look better

Ok you need to add calves to her legs and then once your finished I will apply a vertex weld and it will be perfect. THen I will animate.
