Now that's funny, you are talking about WE unlimited but this thread is about UMSWE.

Also, as Vex already stated, weaddar is wrong regarding game patches - blizz won't change any file formats again and therefore UMSWE will work with future versions.

I must agree with SCF that there isn't much left, that one could add and therefore I support the idea of fixing the last bugs - if any - and making a final release. It's the same with WE Unlimited, and yes, I think we should combine both for the final release and allow the user to easily choose which one to use...

i won't vote... that's a decision which you must take alone... if you think your program aint complete and it needs stuffs to add then proceed. if you think that your program is complete and you cannot add more stuff then there is no reason for you to update it. Can't be better from perfection, if you know what i mean.

Vex is right about it not breaking, so I would just get down to work for a couple of days and finish the 4.1 version, release it full, and go do some other project you find interest in. Just my 2 cents.

I don't want this to turn into a WEU vs. UMSWE discussion.
Both have their strengths and that's why we should combine both in a final release, so the users can decide which one to use depending on what type of map they are creating.

At least make the UMSWE workable with the current patch. I mean when patch 1.15 is released the UMSWE should still be able to open, edit and save maps, preferably as fast as possible.

I hated waiting those weeks to develop further on my map, when patch 1.14 was released. :(

Wow, it looks like brett wood was wrong about next patches, anyways I still think that UMSWE is a great idea, I myself couldn't get good in JASS without having my UMSWE period.

And About my last post, I meant that sometimes UMSWE is better than WeU and sometimes WeU is better than UMSWE depends on what do you want to do.

Please don't ever stop. Quiting is not an option. Good things should never die. Plus, if no other editor know how to use advanced triggers and functions from UMSWE, you are simply killing me (working at my map with UMSWE from the beginning)... I wish you all the best... please don't forget about us...
