Who would participate in Another Cinematic contest?

Hey, this sounds like a great idea. The first cinematic gave me alot of experience and brought me near to the level i am now. Toxicseaweed: If you want, maybe it should be done like the first cinematic was. One of the major cinematic people or terrainers makes the terrain and a short intro to set the scene for the cinematic, then just let everyone go from there.

Here is a set of rules that I think might be useful

1) Must be a minimum of 2 minutes long
2) Only publicly accesably skins may be used with a link to the downlaod site
3) No custom models
4) Music must be publicly accesible with a link to the downlaod site
5) Environmental doodad models may not be placed in anyway.
6) Doodads that have significent story importance

hhmm in that case the cinematics have to AT least be 2minutes 20 seconds, *i'm aiming for a 20 second intro. Also its a 64x64 map, so sry if you think thats too small. I just want to hear you guys say thats okay, I've maxed out the play field so it literally is 64x64 instead of 52x52 or whatever. I may add MY OWN custom doodads just to warn ya all.

That's fine, 2 minutes 20 seconds in a 64x64 is easy enough.
When's it going to be ready anyway.
(Can we alter the intro, keeping the same plot, story, etc obviously - just change the way the cameras are positioned and move - hence change the feel of the cinematic - two styles might not blend)

YA i wwould like to be able to change the cameras but keep the same dialouge becauys then it would be like we have many different things that could yhappen in the cinemtics.

how about i submit a script you HAVE to incorporate so you can all do your OWN interpretation of the intro? Heres a shot. I am doing work but i got stupid model UN *my world history is making it mandatory* and tommarows the last day. i want you to say a word that describes the mood of this screenshot :)

Looks nice id say its depicting a solemn mood perhaps someone has died or mabye it is in a time of pain or depression for the village. Use used a grey filter which means you want it to have a darkened quiet mood perhaps they will be under an attack soon I don no.
