No it's not. The forum does that. Too long a word, it puts spaces in. aiofusefaoigsiroufdsufdsifuiodfusdfuudifdiofusdoufosidufiusdoifsufiosdfusidofuidosfuidusfoisdufoidsu fdsiofudsiofusi An example. |

So, my question wasn't answered: How do you get those beta Skins (.blps) to work? The MDLs work because in the object editor, it asks for the model file, and you can put the custom path, but it doesn't let you chose a skin anywhere that I know of. How do you get the Beta Ranger, the Beta Troll, and the Beta Orc War Mill to work? Do you have to get the skins from the WC3Image Extractor (or another MPQ editor/extractor) and import it under the right skin path, or is there an easier way? Please tell me. |

you can thank me for that list.well anyway, pheonix-IV made an "ultra pack" a while ago which had lots of doodads in it, including the beta models such as the warmill, plus an intensity pack wich ive implanted into the map; for pesonal use, if you want the "ultra pack" you can get ithere and the intensity pack here these are all pheonix-IV's so dont look at me im jus the messanger. |

I can't get greenfurtree to work right! I have first exported it, then imported it into my own map, but it says it cant find war3mapImported\FurTreeGreen.mdl while im quite sure the path is alright... |

That is a common problem. I found that if you make the fir green tree, the fir orange tree, or the fir yellow tree as a destructible, it will not work. It will only work as a doodad under environment or another non-destructible catagory. It always says the MDL path cannot be found if it is a destructible, even if it shows the picture of it when you select the model. It is very annoying, yes, but just live with it ![]() |

still, I cannot do it. While the yellow fur tree works perfectly (also as destructable btw) whenever I add a green tree, it tells me the model doesnt exist, or it just crashes wc3... Man I so much love the green fur tree! plz help me :( |

I did... I tried it all, as doodad, as destructible, yellow works on all, green and orange work on none... if I open the ultimate map first, then open my own, import it, then it show the model, but when I place it... WE crashes! :'( |

Why don't you just use the ult terraining map? Thats what this thread is for... |
| 08-16-2004, 08:45 AM | #29 |
cuz I already have the terrain for my map... just need other trees. |

You have to put it in distructables and in art-model file-has lightweight model it must be on false! |
