DOWNLOAD: The Ultimate Terraining Map!

The Ultimate Terraining Map is a normal 32x32 map with all non-trees and bridges converted to doodads with no pathing, all normal doodads have no pathing as well. Many custom models imported and already setup and ready to use.

To use the map just open it up and go to Map Size and Camera Boundaries under Scenario, make the map the size you want, then go to Advanced and change the tileset to your likeing. The credits are in a comment in the trigger editor. Don't give any credit to me, it was a simple job.

I need to know if there are any new better custom models that would fit well as doodads and I'll import them in for the next version.

In next version I'll probally have converted some buildings/units to doodads for easy use and I"ll add in any hidden models as useable doodads as well.

Hope you who use it find the map useful...

Great idea, it will help a lot of people--- The problem with me using it is that I do mine a special way, but still, great idea. I can see a lot of future terrainers rising from this :D

EDIT Number 3: Well, I looked through every single new doodad and model, and I have to say, this must have taken you countless hours of long and boring work just to give a peice of mind to us terrainers. This changes terraining for me forever. Holy crap you are the best. But the funny thing is, in my recent Thunder Bluff Competition terrain, I took almost 45 minutes to find the skin of the Human Blue Bannar Flag doodad, skin it to be brown with no symbol, import it, make it have no pathing, and then use it as a Tauren Wall, surrounded by barrels. But in this map, there is a Tauren Wall doodad, and it is like the same idea, only it looks better. Now people are going to use this in my competition! If only I had waited a little longer, I could have used all the things in this! Why the bad timing!! WHY!!!

I would also like to point out a few minor errors that I found, just so you know.
1: You got Green Fir Tree and Orange Fir Tree mixed up
2: You didn't add the Lordaeron Log Bridge in the Bridges list. No matter, just something you might want to add for people who don't know that it exists (like me 4 days ago).

well this is indeed something ive wandered about doing, infact started, then i saw you where doing it so i thought hey itll save me time if he does it heh *thumbs up* theres only a few things im gonna change such as putting custom doodads in the user specified list(very helpfull)..ima upload some vital doodads too...dunno if you want me to submit here?..not gonna take any credit :)
edit:perhaps changing scales to max 5.00?...i know i need it.(10.00 is too big ussualy.)

Yes, those were also my problems. I usually make the max size 5 or something, and I usually make the Wooden Lordaeron Log Bridge doodad somewhere, but this is still great.

Another thing I do, off topic, is I put the number 1 in front of the name of every doodad that I use often, which, if you are wondering why, puts them automaticly at the top of the doodad list, since numbers are first alphebeticly. I put the number 1 for the most used (Such as Building Doodads that are based off the Building Units) and 2 for the Unit Doodads (Based off the Units, Duh). It makes things easier for me, but that is impossible to do something like this in something that has to work for everyone--- It's just a little something I do, maybe to give people ideas. It helps me a lot and makes terraining that much faster. ^_^

I like having the imports all in one place rather than strewn over propz/environment/structres etc.. Also thanks for putting in the fur trees, I've been tryin to get those to work forever =P

I fixed those and add in a bunch of other hidden dooada that can be found in the MPQ.

Blue Jar, Red Jar, Cow Skull, Carpet, Vase, Barstool, Anvil, Orc Century Tower, Stable (Iron Ians stable), Palm tree (not sure if you already have this), and perhaps a few of the butterfly models.

I already have Palm Tree, I'll consider adding some of those, although that won't be untill Sunday, I'm realllllllly short on time right now and I gotta go. Right after this post I'll reupload the map.

Looks good--- I think the butterflies and the other doodads that were mentioned will make a good addition to this already great invention. I can't wait to see the other secret doodads--- speaking of which, what are some examples?

Excuse my French, but holy shit, are all those already in the game? That is a LOT of custom models that I didn't know about--- I have no access to a computer that has WC on it at the moment, but if that stuff is in the MPQ already, HOLY CRAP!

EDIT: Also, for the ones that are just skins, where do you enter the paths in the object editor?

Were those placed there on purpose? Do the paths have actual spaces? Or was that a typo of yours? You also put one in the "Troll256red .blp" path, between red and .blp. I am guessing it was a typo of yours.
